I was wondering if anyone has tried Peter Thomas Roth's Power K eye cream? It is a little pricey and wanted to know if it is worth it. I just can't seem to get rid of these dark circles. Confused

Laughing Embarassed

Well, it's like this. I love it because it worked really well for my dark circles when other creams I have tried did nothing. So, it's been really good as a treatment for dark circles for me. If I was just looking for an eye cream (dark circles aside) then this is definitely not what I would be getting (I'd go with Cellcosmet or Babor Sensational Eyes Eye Cream). The PTR Power K wasn't moisturising enough and it's quite annoying to use because you have to massage it in till the little CoQ10 spheres break and absorb into your skin.

I think there have been reviews of this from at least three different members here, which should give you a good idea of the pros and cons. Do a search and see what you come up with Wink

I have used it and thought it did a good job on the circles. However, I agree with Mabsy, not much of a moisturizer and pretty pricey stuff. I switched to Eye Bright Treatment Serum (CellularSkinRx.com) and have had great results with the circles but still have to apply moisturizer afterwards. It's a serum-like consistency with a hyaluronic acid base but not moisturizing enough for me. I have also found Teamine from Revox to be somewhat effective for circles and also a good smoother. BTW, the Eye Bright is free right now if you get the Relaxaline and C serum from the cellularskinrx site.

I've only got PTR Power K Eye rescue for less than a week, so too early to say anything yet. But, I wonder what are those tiny black seeds in there? what are you suppose to do with that? Question

From memory that would be the encapsulated CoQ10. You are supposed to break these little capsules as you massage the cream into the skin. This was fairly hard to do so I used to do that on the back of my hand and then apply it. I hear that they changed the formula to make them easier to massage in.

It does not say anything on the instruction. I'll give it a try; see if I can break the capsules. They look pretty hard to break though. Are they supposed to be the ingredients giving the benefits of reducing dark circle?

I'm not sure what the exact role of the CoQ10 is. Those are the instructions I was given by Magda though - they are supposed to break when applied to the skin.
