Has anyone else out there have this problem? 99% of the time I get a haircut, I sweat ;like I am standing under a heat lamp, or cutting grass in 100 degree plus tempature. What can I do to helkp control this, it is embassing, when the barber ask if everything is ok, as sweat rolls down your face.

Please hep if you can.

Thanks

Hello Namvet66!

Welcome to the forum!

Your wet hair situation reminds me of my little cousin who is 6 years old and always hates having his hair cut ( most of the time shaved to save his parents a lot of trouble of taking him to the barber;)).

When he was younger than five, he always cried like a mad kid ( I witnessed it more than once) everytime the barber started his razor.

When asked, he said he hated the buzzing sound of the shaver. He doesn't cry any more ( now he's a first grader) but now he sweats not only on his head but on all over his body everytime he's having a hair cut.

His mom brought this up to the family doctor, he said my little cousin would grow out of it eventually.

Well, it seems I don't have a good answer for your question, but I think it's good that you know you are not...alone.

Hope some experts will come up with a better reply.Very HappyVery HappyVery Happy

okay i'll try to give you multiple solutions for that!
1. try having your hair cut at an air conditioned place
2. sumtyms pipol sweat when they are anxious, nervous or excited, in you case, you might not trust you barber, and is afraid he might give you a bad hair cut, when you anticipate this, you got mixed emotions or so, thus you sweat

try reading a magazine, texting you friend or watever that could take your attention away from the barber and you hair

3. try to find a barber that you trust, and have him always cut your hair, so that you don't get sweaty on emotional et la vue!

i hope this helps! Smile
