I don't like it. It helps make my skin very smooth, however i think it's all because of silicone ingredient and it's very dry. |

Has anyone use both the smashbox and the makeupforever HD Primer? Which one is better? |

I have used it only once or twice. I have dry skin and the product feels very drying. It does make my skin very smooth! It is not one of my favorite products. |

I like the Smashbox primer when I use one. I like how it feels and how my makeup looks after using it. I don't use a primer every day though because I don't alway need a foundation. |

Had to add kudos to Smashbox Primer...clear, color corrector green & bronzing have all done wonders for my skin. I apply it after moisturizer, it goes on weightlessly, does not break me out (which is a must), has helped with shine control and w/ only powder over the top, I still look finished!! Absolutely love this stuff, Sephora will give out samples & QVC has a super size at a really good price, especially if you catch it when Smashbox is on the air!!! |

i dont like the smashbox photo finish primer- it feels smooth but dry. when i apply my foundation- it goes on dry. so i use BE primer as it stays smooth for foundation application.
however, i just bought smashbox color-correcting primer from sephora. havent used it yet, but since im a huge fan of smashbox cosmetics, im willing to give it a go.
lets hope its nice... |

works okay for me so far...I'm also liking Makeup Forever's HD Primer. FYI, I use their HD Foundation as well. |

i also bought Makeup Forever colour correcting primer - have not tried it yet. But i did try it on my hand before purchasing, and it seem to go on smoother than the Smashbox equivalent. |

I got this in a Smashbox kit from QVC. I don't usually wear foundation, and won't wear the primer on a daily basis, but I did think it smooths out the skin, and was good to make foundation go on better, and stay put longer. It is however, if bought solo, quite pricey. |

i like to buy most of my make-up products from smashbox and cargo in kits. that way i get to try out the products without paying too much, and if i like a particular product, i will purchase it alone.
I think the smashbox primer was $35? so is make-up forever.....for 30ml. i agree...a little pricey....my regular primer is BE primer...for $20 30ml. |
