Recently, I read up on the uses of carrier oils as moisturisers. Two oils caught mine attention, namely camelllia oil and jojoba oil. However, I am not sure which of these offers a better anti-aging strength?
Anyway, how do you define a good anti-aging product? |

Out of the two Camellia oil offers the best anti-aging but I would rather recommend Evening Primrose and Rosehip Oil as they are very effective at healing skin and regenerating new tissue as well as helping with fine lines and wrinkles. They are also great at reducing scars and discolouration in the skin. |

I have read somewhere that rosehip could aggravate acne, while EPO is heavier and takes longer to absorb.
What are the components inside these two oil that gives anti-aging properties? |

Camellia has strong anti-oxidants "polyphenols", good for anti-aging. Its texture is better than rosehip oil. Silkia camellia oil is the one I use and I love how it makes my skin feel and look. I've tried an unrefined organic rosehip oil and I just didn't like the heavy texture and strong scent (people I work with could smell me miles away ). I then bought a refined rosehip oil brand and it's lighter in texture and scent but it's still not something I enjoy using everyday. Good for spot treatment maybe. |
