Hi all, do contact lenses push the upper eyelids outwards more? Because I recently wore contacts and notice that my eyelids were more visible from a distance...Do they really do some action to the eyelids or is it because of having better eyesight which allows me to see them more clearly? Thanks.

Hm. I'm more inclined to think that its because you have better eyesight...the lens is super thin, and I don't think that the naked eye can really pick up the difference. Maybe your lids are puffier than normal for some other reason?

Perhaps they are puffier because they are reacting to the lens solution

Hi, I've been wearing contact lens for 30 years. Do you mean you are happy that you can see your eye lids more clearly (more defined eyes)? I think the difference lies in the fact that when you can see better now with the lens (instead of squinting for better vision) your eyes looks more 'concentrated in attention' (sorry don't know if I'm making myself clear here) and hence more attractive.
Just my 2 cents.
