It's been a while since I've been on the forum (I went to Europe and then to Kenya!!!), but I wanted to write again and say 'hi!' These trips have made me fairlly sentimental about life in general and what I'd like to do with it. I guess my question for you guys is: if you could do anything in life (as a career) what would it be?
I guess my answer: documentary film maker (creative director). Fodor's reviewer/restaurant reviewer -- professional traveler. |

If money was no object, then I would probably do volunteer work with animals.
Other than that, I'd really like to be a photo stylist working with interiors and home furnishings.
Somedays though I wish I was a sports physiotherapist working in Formula One. |

Formula One Grand Prix Racing. It's the pinnacle of single-seater racing.

If money were no object I'd be one of those eccentric english people who have an animal sanctuary probably specialising in horses with 'issues' or who have had a tough time and try to rehab them so they can go onto have a great life and if not they could just live out their life with me. (My OH would point out that I already have a horse and a pony - both rescues, 3 rabbits, 3 cats, 2 budgies and 2 fish - the majority of which fill the above criteria!LOL!) - I'd just do it as a career rather than a 'hobby'.
Best thing in the world was to have my horse compete at a proper One Day Event when 5 years ago when I got her she was very poorly and unrideable and VERY wary of humans. Lots of my 'friends' told me to send her to a dealer or have her PTS but I just couldn't - I knew she'd come good as she was really deep down such a sweetie. Now she is really sweet and affectionate and such a good girl and really seems happy. I'd love to be able to try to do that with more animals. |

Oh, how I'd love to be able sing full time.
I am happiest when I am on stage singing - alas, it is only in the off-off-off-off-off Broadway forum! I'm doing a show in a couple of weeks called "Broadway Rocks" and it's a tribute to musicals like Joseph, Hair, Rent, Wicked, Hairspray, Aida., etc...So far we're having a blast.
My sister and I are actually "gettin' the band back together" to start playing locally. We practiced the other night and nothing makes me feel better than singing with her....

I would love to have my own cattery. I would also like to Visit my sponsored children in Vietnam and do more to help their community. |

Love most of the replies here. I would love to quit my job and stay home and do all the things I never have time to pursue, such as reading a good book or take up needlepoint again. |

Gucci, who do you sponsor your child through? I want to do this but don't know who to do it through.
For work I am pretty pleased with what I'm doing, at home with my young son. |

Finishing writing my book, go into business for myself making skincare products, go back to school to get a cosmetologist license so I could open my own hair and skin salon....Hmm, that ought to keep me busy for a while! |

Hi Lolli
I sponsor my child through Plan International. I researched through these organisations before sponsoring and found that with Plan 80p of every pound goes toward the child and the childs community, only 20p goes towards admin.
I've sponsored Hau for 7 years now. I get a letter off him about every 2 months and he is learning English. He has a sister so I never leave her out and send her little gifts as well...
Off Plan I get a yearly report as to what my money has been spent on, what has happened to Hau and his family, etc and 3 photographs...I wish I could sponsor more! Its £12 per month. |

I would either want to hop from cooking school to cooking school or would want to run a television network and pick all of the shows on the air. Either would be so fun! |
