Hi,

I hope you guys can help me figure this out.

Basically I am looking for something that I could use to freshen up after a straineous activity.
For example being in a club and getting really sweaty on the face :S when you cannot use a cleanser.

I get really hot and sweaty and I feel like I need to wash my face. What could I use on the go?
And when I am stuck like that for 3-4 hours before I get home to use a proper cleanser,I get breakouts the next day Sad

I tried some pre-soaked wipes, but most of them feel like they leave a sticky film on my skin. Maybe you know of something better?

I hope you can help!PLEASE! Smile
Aga

If you want to take away sweat, but not remove make-up, use "blotting-paper"...they are very tiny and fit into a pocket.

If you want to get make-up off, try make-up removing pads suck as Jason "Quick-clean" make-up remover pads...they're the size of eye-makeup remover pads and 2 is enough for the entire face and neck. I use them when I backpack (put a few in a tiny zip-lock if you have no hand-bag with you and just pocket-space).

For therapeutic freshening, I carry a small bottle of organic tea tree essential oil...ok, this wonder-oil you can use for ALOT; rub a few drops in your hands and then in your face for cleansing, pore-minimizing, and pimple-prevention. Got to a bathroom and dilute a drop in water in your palm and you've got deoderant, and while you're at it, you can use a few drops on your finger and "brush" your teeth with! It also takes away bad breath. If you see a pimple, dab a drop on it and leave it alone. Feel sick...take a few drops in some cloth and breathe in, or just breathe in from the bottle.

Good luck Very Happy

I've for some time now been tempted to try the Exuviance Bionic Tonic wipes: http://www.essentialdayspa.com/exuviance-skinrise-mornin-p_106.htm but haven't got around to it though. They seem like they might fit the bill but I'm not sure if there's any residue or how moisturising they are....

Mabsy,
Do you think Exuviance would be ok for sensitive skin?

Do you have to rinse it?

Sorry, no idea about sensitive skin - I haven't used the product so I really don't know. From what I undertand though you do not rinse this off.

In summer I like to carry a bottle of hydrosol in my bag (you can either freeze it and let it thaw in your bag, or just put it in the fridge if you're not going to be out for long).

You can also add some essential oils to the hydrosol for more pore clarifying properties.

And blotting papers are a must for me! But don't seem to work too well for sweat. Perhaps some light facial tissue or a small cotton towel.
