I think the best before date is only really for the botanical ingredients, they may lose their 'effectiveness'. It's unlikely the whole tube will go rancid or anything like that straight away.

I would still continue using it til it's finished. Just keep it in a cool/dark place for then... Surprised

i can't believe it would say that! the tube is enough to last one person for more than a year, if you are using it at the rate that DH guidelines recommend which is once a week for oilier skins...

i squeezed some quince day cream into a little jar because i was sick of always squeezing too much cream out from the metal tubes (they sort of still keep coming out even after u've stopped squeezing), and that's been in there for a good few months now with no problems at all.

Yes i've read on some Dr. H site to use it within 3 months after opening, but then it also says you should use it once or twice a month if you have dry skin so it must last you a long time using it at that rate.

I've used mine well after the 3 month mark with no ill effects. I would try it out and if there is no reaction then I'm sure it's fine. Maybe try a patch test first and wait a day.
