I'm looking for a new facial scrub, having recently finished several that I had on the go. I'm currently using a very simple regime of Kiehls facial wash and moisturiser. My skin is prone to oiliness and outbreaks, so I need something that isn't too harsh, but that I can see results from. Any suggestions? Thanks. |

Well it isn't a scrub per se but a mask, but I carry a Black Mud mask that you might like with your skin type. The other suggestion I haven't tried yet is MAC's new scrub, I read great reviews on it and hope to try it this weekend. |

Many like the Dermalogica Microexfoliant here. It gets great reviews. Epidermx has also gotten good reviews here. I use CSRx Polishing grains. They are sort of like the Body Shop's discontinued japanese washing grains but much finer. I mix them into my regular cleanser to make it an exfoliant or use them with just a little water to make a paste. I like that I can add things to them, like salicylic acid or lactic acid (bought at personalformulator.com)to make an-on-the spot mask/peel. |

Dermalogica Microfoliant (enzyme-based powder exfoliant), Pevonia Enzymospherides peeling cream (enzyme-based exfoliating mask), PTR Botanical Buffing Beads (manual scrub but *very* gentle) would all be good choices IMO. At least, I have all three of them and would repurchase each one |

If you are looking for something that is not too harsh, what about the Dr Hauschka Cleansing cream, alternatvily try adding ground almonds to your Kiehls facial wash and then apply useing the press and roll method. |

I've always used the Gatineau exfoliator. I find it suits my skin, not to harsh and I don't get any redness. |

I second Rosebud's recommendation for Dr Hauschka Cleansing Cream.
I add a little bit of kaolin clay (thanks for Carekate's suggestion) and it really helps with oiliness (I probably have the same type of skin as you!). |

Agree with Dermalogica Microfoliant...I also like Eminence Organics Rosehip & Maize exfoliating mask (I got the travel-kit that also included some great masks) |

I think you shouldn't use a scrub if you have skin that's prone to breakouts. I'm sure some here agree. A manual scrub would only irritate skin. Use something with very very tiny grains or better yet a chemical exfoliant like papaya, pineapple, mango and pumpkin mixed with an AHA or BHA. |

I cannot use Mud mask (as some sugest to you) and do not any peeling or scrubing - it will only irritade ur skin. Try enzime or acid exfoliators - almost all brands do some of them. This products will do the peeling effect but with no rabbing ur skin.
But u have to be careful with sun will using it!
I use Papaya or Pineapple peelings... Sometimes AHA peeling (only in winter)
Good luck |
