Yes, I am currently using it. I found it to be the highest strength retinol on the market. I started with lower strengths in the Affirm line of retinol products and worked my way up to it. It is strong and you have to be careful. I am happy with the results however you will probably experience some dryness/flaky skin - when this happens to me I back off and don't use it for a couple of days and then start again. Also you don't need very much two/three pumps for your whole face is sufficient. Once I have finished my Skinceuticals I have a prescription for Retin A which I am going to try. It is extremely important to wear sunblock every day as it makes your skin unbelievably sensitive to light. I notice my face goes red even with just a few minutes of exposure in the morning on my way to work so I have to wear sunblock every day and reapply a couple of times on weekends b/c I am often outside all day.

I haven't tried this yet. I ordered it from EDS about 2 weeks ago but it's back ordered. I'm interested in other's feedback. I'll post when I've used it for a few weeks.

I tried the .5% one and while it was good for use once a week, anything more make my skin burn and peel. If it's your first retinol product get a milder dose to start with if your skin is sensitive.

I am using the 0.5% and love it. I am still using it once a week though. The goal is to achieve peeling without redness and stinging. Very Happy

I have used the 1% and while I really liked the consistency and the way that it absorbed into my skin it made me break out. I think it might be the silicones in it. It did not irritate my skin and I do not think it is as strong as the level 9 Green Cream (which I love but leaves an oily feel to my skin Sad )

Hi ladies,

I received a 2 samples of the lower dose when the product first came out. I tried it on my face twice and each time I got a nice size welt. Sad I decided to take a closer look at the ingredient label and really didn't see anything that "might" breakout my skin. As you can imagine I was abit upset at the fact that I couldn't tolerate the product. I did notice that it had the ingredient polyacralamide (sp)in it, which is "supposed" to be carcinogenic. ?? That kinda threw me abit. Does anyone know with certainty if polyacralamide is dangerous? I would hope a great company like Skinceuticals would not place anything carcinogenic in their products. But who knows these days Exclamation Perhaps the ingredient has to be at a certain level to be deemed dangerous..? I've heard many people on MUA swear off the use of products containing it. I'm on the fence about it.

I must confess that I started using a "tab" around my eyes about twice per week. I then follow with a moisturizing eye cream. I've had no negative reaction--thank goodness!! Too soon to tell if it is helping with those dreaded lines though. Thanks!

I'm at a crossroads as well. I've used prescription retin-A, which was a bit harsh the first few weeks, but my skin adjusted as I adjusted application schedule. Then I switched to Skinceuticals 1.0 and have been using that for nearly four months. This is not as harsh on my skin, yet I'm not getting any of the peeling action that I received from the Tretinoin. Decisions, decisions.....

I use the 1% under my eyes and along what would otherwise be naslabial folds. I absolutely love this stuff. Be careful though. This is VERY strong stuff. Even now, after several months of use, I still don't use it every night....
