Hmm...Do they crack? If so..it might sounds gross..but it might be fungus. Many people get it on their toes (discolorations and cracking) and dont know what exactly it is...That, or maybe you paint your nails and the nailpolish remover along with it is causing damage on your nails? |

C serum turns my nails like that too. Washing my hands right after applying helps. You can also try soaking your fingers in lemon juice. It helps a little. |

Perhaps try soaking in some warm lavender/tea tree/lemon water? If it were any sort of infection (esp fungal) then it'd help.
Probably one look from the doc would tell more than anything else.
But I'm the type that hates going to the doc for one little thing |

I find soaking the nails in steradent helps. I'm sure any denture cleaning tab would be ok so soak the nails in. Sometimes the formaldehyde in base coats can turn the nails yellow as well as too much nitrocellulose in the polish. Best of luck and I hope you get the problem sorted out soon |

If it is a fungus (I caught one from a bad manicure in NYC)-then my miracle cure is white vinegar dabbed around the cuticle morning and night. After trying every OTC topical product on the market, this was finally the thing that did the trick! Can you believe it? I found this solution online on a bulletin board and the writer said that fungus cannot survive in an acetic environment. If this helps, please let me know..because so far I am the only guinea pig! |

Great tip! Also, tea tree oil is another really good thing to try if it's fungus. Cleared up "issues" with my toe nails really quickly. |
