I have heard that Flax Seed oil is great for the skin. Has anybody here used it? My Mom just got some and I have been taking it for the past few days. |

Hi,
I heard many good raves about it too and would like to try it. Where did your mom get it from. I also read an article from the web saying that Flax oil is not stable and you should buy it from the store's refrigerator shelf and it should be in black container too. Did your mom bought it from a refrigerator shelf. Is it in black container. I am afraid that if I take the non-potent oil, I will not benefit from it and waste time and money.
Thanks,
Rose |

I don't think it's that flax seed oil is good for skin, i read somewhere that it's Omega 3 in the flaxseed oil that is good. Omega 3 is also related to good cardiovascular health. You can get your omega from salmon, sardines ect... not just flax seed. Flax seed is not as potent as fish in terms of the amount of omega 3 it can give you (i think that flax seed need to be converted to something else first whereas fish is easier for body to obtain omega. - something like that can't remember). do a quick search on google on omega 3 and skin and you'll see a bunch of info on skin health and omega 3's.
hope it helps |

Just take Udo's Oil Blend, it has everything! Buy from the fridge and store in the fridge. Especially if you have eczema or any skin problem. The man in my hubby's family all have problem skin, Udo's Oil Blend helps tremendously!

I take Omega 3 in the form of Flaxseed oil and I think it helps. Can't really be sure though, know what I mean? I take it for it's heart effects as well. |

A friend of mine swears by it. She said her freckles faded a lot after taking flex seed oil (the oil itself, not supplements) for 6 months. |
