Ladies,
I apologize before hand if this is one of the topics. I have been digging through all the eye posts for days, and have seen so many suggestions. I give.
I just turned 40 this summer. I have never looked my age (good German skin and short stature prolly). However in the past month
I have noticed my crowsfeet just popping (or creasing )
I am a menepausal 40. Fair skin. No acne but
not really dry most times. I do have eye bag problem due to thyroid (which can't be fixed and that Hollywood eye magic is awsome for those expensive but works) So I have always avoided too much moisturizer and only used serums not creams for my eye area.
Please help! I need to do something! |

kj68 - besides botox people reported good results for crowsfeet with dermarolling, and facial exercises. Some say that frownies help, but not everyone can use them on delicate skin around eyes. |

And there is always Botox.
However, 90-95% of my crows feet have disappeared from rolling, and I am holding off on anymore Botox for the time being. |

I have done the full set of dermarolling with the 1.5 and finished in August. The posters were saying to give a 3 month break and then
start another 6 sessions. In the mean time, I've been using the .5 roller to push my product further into the skin.
I also started the Flex effect program over the summer. I cannot believe the difference in my face already, but have kindof been wondering if
some of the exercises are contributing to the crows feet. Bags are better, 11 about nil, and jowls about gone, but the wrinkles around my eyes look terrible. |

Botox period! Nothing knocks out crows feet like botox. It prevents you from making the wrinkle when you smile thus preventing future wrinkling also. |

So would u ladies think a Vit. C serum would do anything to very fine lines?
Btw, for the Flex Effect, do I need to purchase the program? Or can I look it up online for free? hehe |

Stardustdy - FlexEffect has a book and DVD. DVD is very helpful. Also when you purchase entire program (book & DVD) you get access to members only forum that is very valuable. So I would recommend you to purchase the program. |

Hey kj!
Oh I'm glad you got such great results from FlexEffect!! Me too!
The one thing that really erased my crows'-feet was CO2 laser 8 years ago. I still have to moisturize like mad, but the only time I have the little buggers is when I smile really big. The wise-guy surgeon told me, when I asked him how I could prevent them from coming back: "Never smile again." Not- so- good advice. He might have said, "Botox and sunscreen". |

How often are you using the .5mm to push in your topicals? |

Bethany when you roll around your eyes, do you do the area under your eyes, or just the crows feet? Botox has helped my crows feet, but I hate the crinkly look under my eyes when I smile! The crinklies seem to be more noticeable since the crows feet are gone. |

Sorry ladies, football night. We won!!!
Stardusty--the flex effect is worth every dime...of all the things I do, this has been the best money spent.
Fawnie--CO2 laser, I'll have to check in to that.
Bethany and Lucyluc--Botox, scared to death. My bags, I don't feel are worth the risk to what that could do to the eye bag area. Plus, when I was really considering botox and researching, they say in the long run its a bad idea because it causes the muscles to atrophy.
mpstat--I'm talking crows feet and the crinkles under the eyes. I'm talking crepiness..Awful. To not have crows feet and now they start at the
outside corners of eyes and go to about 1/2 way to the hair line.
Bethany--I use the .5 roller 2-3 times a week.
Remergent DNA repair is the product I use and when I do the 1.5 I use Vitamin e. After digging through the flex effect archives, one of the ladies said that single needling each wrinkle has given her good results. So, I started that tonight after I rolled with the 1.5. I love that rosy glow.
<sigh> I guess I was just hoping for a miracle cream. I don't mind getting old, I just mind looking old. |

Mander123--I roll the whole eye area. Above, below, crowsfeet, all of it. I am a little more gentle and only go up and down, side to side. Horizontals I have too much problems with in that area. On the crows feet, I do all rolls and I'm not gentle.
I read to do the whole eye area on the dermaroll thread. |

I roll the entire upper and lower eye area, with the exception of the actual eye lid. The Dr. Roller 3Line is THE best for eyes due to the smaller size. See the link below for discounted rollers, including the 3Line:

Not only did it get rid of my crowsfeet, but it also got rid of all my milia. I do still have some crinklies, but they are subsiding and I anticipate that they will lessen further as the skin thickens up from rolling.
FYI...I have only rolled since mid-May, and I roll far less then most people. I did a series of 6 weekly rolls (which I would not do more frequently than every 2 weeks based on what I know now), and then took a 3 month break. I just started back up, and will only be rolling every 4-6 weeks.
Rolling takes time, but between the rolling and the Retin A/Obagi NuDerm combo, I am hoping for complete elimination of the crinklies in another 6-12 months (with no Botox expenditures). |

Hi Bethany, what size roller are you using around your eyes I am interested in rolling but I am confused about the size of the needles. |
