I just purchased the loose powder by Jane I. and it seems like my pores look even larger then using my Chanel liquid foundation...is this possible?? |

I had the same problem! I thought perhaps I didn't apply it right, but it was so horrible on me I decided not to purchase a full product. I'm sticking with my Dr. Hauschka foundation for now, mineral makeup just ins't for me -- perhaps my pores are too large? |

Am going to stick with my beloved MAC Studio Fix Powder Foundation |

I haven't tried the loose but I do use the pressed JI and have had no problems like that at all. I do spritz my face after application and also apply with the JI Handi Brush (much easier to work with). |

I havent tried the loose either and but I don't have any problems with the pressed (for a while there I was having trouble with it going all clumpy on my tzone but I realised it was the sunscreen I was using underneath that was causing this problem so I now use a little Jurlique Calendula Cream mixed with Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer SPF20 as a base and it's perfect). Like Mabsy, I also apply with the handi, blend any uneven areas with the flocked sponge (havent had to do that for a while), apply a touch of Jurlique rose dust on my tzone and then spritz to set it. If it's a particularly hot day or I'm over-oily for some reason it doesnt look "perfect" for an entire day though. To fix this prob, I just take my spritz in my purse, spray a little on the areas that dont look fresh anymore, wipe with the flocked sponge and then re-apply with the handi. Takes all of 2 minutes and I'm good to go again, looking as fresh faced as I did when I left the house in the morning |
