Hi all,
which of the two is the better exfoliator: ISC Active serum or Obagi Exfoderm Forte?
I am currently trying the IS Clinical Poly-Vitamin serum, which is supposed to be a gentler version of the Active serum. It was recommended to me by SkinTerra, but it's not yielding the noticible improvement that I was expecting. So I'm looking for an alternative. Then again, I only started using the ISC products a little over a week ago, so maybe I should just give it more time.
I am looking to refine my pores and scars, and to smooth out fine lines. Lightening of my freckles would be a nice touch too. I would look into the Obagi regiment if it weren't for the hydroquinone, which the Exfoderm doesn't contain.
FYI, I am currently using the Poly-Vitamin and the Pro-Heal serums. My skin feels really smooth in the morning if I layer the two products over each other the night before. But having read the raves about ISC, I was expecting more drammatic results. |

I got an email from SkinTerra recommending that I give my current regimen 4 weeks before changing it. I'm inclined to take their suggestion, as long as my Poly-Vitamin sample doesn't run out (I'm already half way through it). Cuz when it does, I'll need to decide on what to order: the Poly-vitamin again, the Active, or Obagi's Exforderm
SkinTerra won't send me the Active serum sample unless I place another order, even though I requested (and never got it) in my first order I'll be looking into other places to order from. |
