Hey! I am brand new to the board. I am 23 with combo/dry skin, sensitive, breakout prone and Mild Rosacea which for me means facial flushing. I know. I'm a mess. lol. I have used pretty much everything. I want to get on a regimen that works and stick with it. I have tried prescriptions as well to no avail. I prefer to go the all natural route. Any suggestions? I am open to most anything. Thanks guys and I hope to be posting a lot here!

Welcome tvreality,
You may want to look into the B. Kamins line, they have a rosecea line formulated that works pretty well. Here is a link to the treatment:

hi, i have it too... sorry but i dont think anything will work for it. it is alot of $$$$$$$$ for something you really dont know will work for you.unless ya got the bucks to blow. i went to a derm dr , had an antibiotic because it was in my eyes also... but, it didnt work either.... now i just live with it and deal with the redness.. all those products just flare it up.. except emu oil. and use bare mineral makeup to cover the red.. and it does cover it well. qvc will be on the 24th with bare essentials mineral make up ..check it out.

My family doctor diagnosed me with mild rosacea too, but mainly from the eye infection symptoms rather than redness.
I was put on antibiotics too but they caused so much trouble for my body, so I've stopped too.
I'm just looking at using gentle cleansers which are thorough too, to remove oil so I don't get more blocked pores.
I also use a mild cleanser regularly on my eye lashes to remove sebum to prevent any infections from blocked pores.
I agree with lassie - mineral make ups do cover the red very well.
TV Fan - you might want to try the Dr Hauschka cleansing cream, it was great for me because it didn't cause any redness. I find that with normal face wash/creams, the rubbing motion causes redness to rise and never go away! So I always apply everything with a gentle patting motion. |

If you are looking for a good gentle cleanser, maybe try Bath and Boby Works Soy Face Cleanser. It's very gentle and soothing. I may start using that one again.
I also heard that using a BHA can help with redness and the P&P that Rosacea can cause. I may start using one every other night.
That new MAC Prep + Prime skin product looks nice as it says it helps with redness. I may try that too for during the day.
I want my regimen as simple as possible. I will keep you all, my fellow Rosaceans , updated and let you know if I find something that really works for Rosacea. It's a battle, but hopefully one we can win! |

Try a sample of the IS Clinical Proheal. It helped mine and my husbands. |
