well right i work out from time to time because of school keeping me busy but i've been working out for a while. And i have stretch marks around my arm pits... I mean i've had this there for a while now but it wasnt that noticeable.. now the stretch marks are light red... I do stretch before i go work out.. maybe im strech incorrectly.. or i dont know.. anybody know what i should do? or if there any creams out there that could help...
well my friend told me that there's really nothing you can do about stretch marks |

| Have you tried Stri Vectin yet? I'm using their eyecream and it's giving pretty good results. It doesn't 'erase' the lines i have, but definitely help soften them; and stops new ones from growing. |

| You may want to look into using RetinA. I am no expert but I do recall reading that it can reduce stretch marks if it is used when they are still new. |

| i hate stretch marks, i wonder how i can reduce some stretch marks i have... i've tried all types of creams and they don't seem to work |

i too have stretch marks on my arms. i have tried apply vitamin E creame but it doesnt seems to help much. i have even went to consult doc, doc told me even with laser he cant garantee a 100% removeal of the stretch marks. the best bet would be about 90%.  |

Try helichrysum oil. I got mine at nandaoils.com. It was promising, but I bought the 5 ml size, and it was used up quickly. I bought my next one from ebay, and it didn't smell the same, and I didn't see the good results I was seeing from Nandaoils. So when I'm done, I'll go back to Nandaoils.
Also I am going to try glycolic acid peel to exfoliate, and followed by Super COP and then Super COP 2x next. |

Nandaoils.com is a web site that sells different oils. I only bought from them once. They were very prompt to respond to my question, and the shipping was super fast. They seemed really professional.
The helichrysum oil I got from Nandaoils was of good quality. When I applied it on my stretchmarks, the next morning I looked at my tummy, and it looked as if my stretchmarks had faded overnight. My skin appeared smooth. I could barely see the stretchmarks. However, as I said, I bought the small size bottle, and the oil didn't last long. I tried to buy a cheaper one sold on ebay, and the smell was different from the one I got at Nandaoils. The feel (tingling feeling) was also off. I didn't see the same result as I did with the oil from Nandaoils. So I figured I would have to buy from Nandaoils again. |

bkkgirl ~ thanks babe for explaining. i have got sensitive skin, in your opinion do you think the product suitable for sensitive skin as well?
so you apply it 1x or 2x per day? is there any smell or its odourless for the oil? |

There's some smell but the one from Nandaoils was pleasant while the one from ebay was like Vick's Vaporub. I don't know how to describe the smell from Nandaoils. It didn't bother me, but actually seemed soothing. It's a bit minty perhaps. There's some tingling sensation but more on the cool side.
I think if you have sensitive skin, you should try the small size (5 ml) like the one I got. I think it was $11. |

| so i went to my dermatologist and asked him about stretch marks, he said there is NOTHING you can do about it. Creams such as Vit. E do nothing for stretch marks. The only way to prevent stretch marks is to not gain weight. I feel like i don't gain any weight but still get stretch marks... i moisturize everyday but still see faint stretch marks on my inner thighs developing. Argh it is very frustrating that there is nothing you can do about it. |

It will be interesting to hear what your derm says...I've always been of the mind that you can't make stretch marks disappear...that the only way to get rid of them is to have the area of skin cut away (like with a tummy tuck)...I always thought the most you could do was help to fade them to white...I'd love to hear what you derm says - keep us posted
