Hello,
Just wondering if anyone's every heard or tried Aloette's Lumitone for lightening hyperpigmentation/freckles. I've only read one review of it on MUA which was positive and I'm always on the look out for lightening products. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks. |

I've been using this product for almost a month. I've really been impressed. While my only major problem is redness, it has started to improved this. |

I've used it - IMHO it's not bad - but not great or anything - did notice an overall brightening but insignicant results in terms of directly impacting age spots....good for the money - if you're not worried about persistent age spots - a nice overall brightener...

I went through two bottles of Aloette Lumitone and didn't noticed any lightening or brightening of my skin. I did love how it made my skin very soft and silky. |

I was being lazy when I typed the original post. I cut and pasted it from the title of this thread. It's actually called Lumitone HP. Sorry.

COMPTON, I just realized that I wasn't the one spelling the word wrong. It was you. It's Aloette and not Alloette. You can verify it with the link mentioned in my last post. |

No harm in trying things. That product has worked for others. It just didn't work for me. |

I'm actually the one who was asking (original login no longer works). I tried it and it did nothing for me. I have dermal melasma so most topicals don't address the issue as well as supplements do. Thanks for all the responses! |

While I adore Aloette's Lumitone HP, the shipping with them has been an absolute disaster...things forgotten in my order, reshipments that don't come and when they do come are cracked. Then when I complain about that, they say they'll send it again, then don't. Then they send me an insurance slip, but I don't get reimbursed.
I like the stuff so much that I just get it on eBay now, and it gets to me in two days, even if I have to pay a few bucks more.
Oh, and when they send a shipment, it just all gets thrown into a bubble envelope, which means caps come off and the stuff gets all over the place. And they charge A LOT for shipping...a serious premium.
Let the buyer beware. |

Tried it. Have to admit it did nothing for me and if memory serves, it broke me out a bit, but don't go by me....every moisturizer I have tried lately has given me problems except for two: my purpose sunscreen and my bioferment from Skinactives. |

Did a quick search on google for TSC, but only got a "Tractor Supply Company." Can you give me the web site for TSC for the Lumitone HP?
It really is the best skin product I've ever used. After a month or so, my freckles noticeably decreased, along with the first official age spot that was forming. Also, the cream is just so velvety...it really alters the texture of my skin and makes the make-up go on so much better.
The real test is that people soon began commenting on how wonderful I looked lately. At first, it was a head-scratcher, until I realized that my skin was truly brighter. Combining the Lumitone with doing some facial exercises to strengthen the muscles (and thus reduce some sags and wrinkles) has been a real boost to my ego. Add in a great haircut and the L'Oreal Feria colors, and I'm just bitchin'! :D When you get into your late '40s, like me, these small miracles can make your day.
First, though, I need to get the Lumitone easier than through Aloette, whose shipping is a nightmare. So the link to TSC would be much appreciated. |

Is anybody still using this stuff?
Im thinking of ordering it. I have an obvious darker patch on my chin than the rest of my face- I want to even things out and get rid of old acne marks.
How well did this product work for you and how long did it take for you to see results?
Thanks

I used this and went through 2 bottles. I didn't notice any significant difference in getting rid of an old acne scar but it lightened *slightly* and my overall complexion seemed to even out (less redness). The positive for me was that it really did make my skin smoother and it felt really nice. I have sensitive skin and this product did not cause any problems for me. HTH |

Canadian Girl, I noticed results on the first two applications (skin tone more even) and my skin was very soft but the acne scar was still visible after 2 bottles. As I mentioned in my last post it did lighten but not completely gone. I stopped using it and tried epidermx (which seems to get rid of acne scars faster). HTH |

Okay,
I broke down and bought the lumitone from TSC- 3 bottles for $103 including taxes and shipping.
I have been using it 2X per day for 3 weeks now.
What I see is that it makes my skin smoother, and I have noticed a tiny bit of a brighter complextion- very tiny. It has not really helped some of my red acne marks. But now I am switching to just applying it to the marks instead of my whole face and see if that will do the trick.

I didn't notice anything, other than it caused my other products to ball up on my skin and not sink in.... |

GoW has a skin brightener called White Daisy 5% Facial Serum.. same active ingredient in Lumitone HP. Kristen (skincareaddicted) said it's giving her awesome skin brightening effect! It's really inexpensive too..
