Was wondering about adding some essential oils to my daily moisturizer. Have been adding Jojoba EO in the morning and Grapeseed EO at night and it is like heaven! My skin looks great and does not appear to be so dry. But am worried that I am going to wake up in a few days and be covered in pimples.
Does anyone out there add EO to their moisturizers?
Any advice or testimonials would be appreciated! |

I haven't added EO to them, but I've bought some that contain essential oils like Decleor.
As long as the oil you're using is good for your skin type I don't see any problems with it.
I couldn't find much about the effects of these two oils on the skin, but I did read that grapeseed oil goes bad quickly so you may want to mix it when you use it, or in small quantities. |

Thank you lianne.
I did not know that about grapeseed oil. Would it help to put it in the fridge? or is there anything I can do so it won't go back too quickly? Right now I just keep it in a drawer in the bathroom. |

I have been using Jojoba Oil as a moisturiser and often add Lavender essential oil and sometimes a little tea tree |

somewhere cool and dark would be good. Fridge might be good too, but I don't dare put stuff in there...my poor dad ate a homemade mask of mine once... :-& |

Oh, your poor dad! Hopefully it was one with yogart and honey! My husband won’t come near me after I put on the homemade ACV toner that Carrie posted. But then again he didn’t like the Dermalogica toner I used before………..
thanks for the help! |
