Anyone know of a good face mask that is good for boosting tired skin also that is ok for sensitive skin also not too expensive as i dont have loads of money (wish i did though)  |

lorrapaw, if you had loads of money, you would be in a bigger quandry wondering what to buy, so maybe its for the best... 
The last mask I have bought and am using is Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Mask, but Im only using it round the eyes each morning for a massive wake me up..... |

I really like the Enzyme Revitalizing Mask from Mario Badescu. It makes my skin look so healthy and it looks so good. Go towww.mariobadescu.com and look at the masks. They have a lot of them. You can fill out an on-line survey and get free products. If you request the mask in the comment field at the end of the survey, they will send you a sample. Or you can call them, they are incredibly helpful and kind.

| I was going to suggest Dermalogica Multivitamin or Dr Hauschka Rejuvenating but I'm not sure how much you're wanting to spend. If you let us know your budget for this then we should be able to come up with something. The other suggestion is for you to check out Montagne Jeunesse (sp?) masks. They come in little 20mL sachets at the supermarket (at least in Australia they do) and some of them are really good! They're only a few $ each and last many applications. I think there is one for sensitive skin specifically (though I could be wrong). |

Has anyone tried making their own mask? Over the pasts months I have spent a fortune on masks. Just recently I made one and must say I was delighted with the results.
Organic Yogart
Whole Peach (skins on)
1/2 tsp. Vit E Oil
1 tsp. of honey
Aloe Vera Juice
I mixed it up in my blender trying judge to keep it on the thicker side. I left the mask on for about 20 minutes. If it started to dry a bit I sprayed my face with Rose Water (very inexpensive). Lovely results. My face felt very refreshed, soft and hydrated. This mask would work well for sensitive skin.
The left over product was put in a covered container refrigerated. I used it about 5 days later. Kept very nicely.
lorrapaw if you are looking to keep costs down their are lots of homemade masks you can make with a little imagination. |

only done homemade when things have gone wrong  although I do have several DIY facial/body care books.
If you just need a cheap but good mask the Montagne Jeunesse masks Mabsy suggested are good value. It depends how much you want to spend and what you mean my boost? if you mean hydrating the dermalogica hydrating mask is good, if you mean to get rid of dead cells JB do a great radiance mask, if you want one that is a little of both the Dr.H mask is good buy  so much stuff. |

My suggestion is the Dermalogica Multi-Vitamin Recovery Mask, as well.
I realize that full-size Dermalogica products are (relatively) expensive, but I know most salons/retailers (at least in my neck of the woods!) that carry the Dermalogica line actually sell small, travel-size tubes (much larger than a standard sample ‘packet’) of their products for less $5 (or you can get 6 of them for $20). I know this, because I bought one of the MVRM travel-size tubes myself last November. I use it at least once per week, and I still have over half the tube left!!
So if you’re on a budget or don’t want to commit to the full-size before you know it works for you, I believe this would be the ideal way to go – especially since the MVRM is such an amazing product! Sometimes if I’ve overdone it with an exfoliator or something (i.e.: I once left the Dermalogica Gentle Cream Exfoliator on my face too long, which aggravated my sometime sensitive skin and left me with red, flaky patches on my cheeks near my nose), I slap on a thin layer of the MVRM and leave it on overnight, and when I wake up on the morning, the irritation and flakiness has magically disappeared!

P.S. Sorry for the delay in posting a reply. Recently the ‘internet police’ at work gave me a warning about spending too much time online, so I have to limit myself to the allotted 30 minutes per day. How do I manage to survive?? I print out all of the topics that interest me and read them during my smoke breaks, then flag the ones I want to respond to. Then I formulate my replies while I’m ‘off-line’ then go to EDS right quick to cut & paste a flurry of responses to all the various topics...it may be primitive, but it works!! (Until the day I accidentally paste a reply meant for one topic into a completely separate topic!!) Hey, you gotta do what you gotta do.... |

| Dermological's Multivitamin Power Recover Mask a nd Dr. H's mask for me. I also use pure honey as face masque very often and I am pleased with the result. |
