As a Asian girl, I am also addicted to all kinds of whitening (lightening) products. However, after trying many brands and investing so much money, my result is disappointed. Most of the products target at lightening and add radiance into the skin that can't change the skin color. If you also have some brown spots on your face, some medicated products may work. However, it may take a few months to see the results.

hello white_secrets,
Can you help me? I am using the Delecor's whitening line right now. The whitening powder, the whitening mask, the whitenign day cream and night cream. In addition, I get this cream called Tazarotene from my doctor. I use it as a mask and rise off after 15 min. However, it makes my skin so dry since my skin is dry in the winter already, I haven't use this cream for a week already. At the same time, the doctor also prescribe me the hydraquine (maybe spelling is wrong) cream to put on the brown spots on my cheek.
I am quite concerning my brown spots on my face and therefore, I tried many lightening cosmetics as well as prescription drugs. I also did an IPL treatment last summer. It did fade my brown spots; however, it has side-effects on me. I usually don't have any acne problem since my skin is quite dry. However, I tend to have many acne after the treatment and it lasts for a month. The most terribel thing is those acne left the scars on my face!!!
Therefore, I not only have to deal with the brown spots but also the acne spots as well.
I have been using the delecor's whitening line for a few month; however, I haven't notice much difference. Please give me some advice. And does the hydraquine cream work?

Herbalinn has lightened me fast and gets rid of blemishes too. I've heard many people rave about it - so I had to try for myself. I've been on it 5 weeks now,and am at least 2 shades lighter. Now if I can find something for my body just as effective!!

BIC: i really and strongly suggest that u dont use any products that contain hydroquinone because it actually makes ur skin darker when exposed to sun even if u r skin is exposed to the sun for a short time. maybe u used a product that has hydroquinone which made u have dark acne scars.

I'm telling you in all seriousness - nothing works like herbalinn - I tried tons of skin lightening products - only to watch a very slow gradual process. Herbalinn shows results in 2 weeks, and then 2 shades lighter in 5 weeks. I have not heard one person say it didn't work for them. The only problem is there's no permanancy about it like all the other products - you gotta keep using it, otherwise you turn to your original skin color.

I am using Herbal Inn and have seen good results, although my face wasn't that dark to begin with. Since it's hard to get, I've also been using Vicco's Tumeric which is kind of the same (and way cheap!). I am Asian with very sensitive skin and have pretty much tried everything (including hydroquinone and Godiva products - both of which I was allergic to). I also was not thrilled with the results from IPL.

If the product show the whitening result too fast, it really hurts your skin. Try something more natural and secure. Usually whitening procedure will take a long time. If you want to keep the white result, protect yourself by using a good UV contained moisturizer.

You cannot lighten your skin. You can lighten dark spots, and prevent them. Your skin is darker, as this is WHO YOU ARE, just like my skin is fair. I was born like this, and you were born the way you were. Unless you have developed a pigmentation disorder, there is nothing you can do but love yourself, the skin you're in, and stop trying to do the "Kabuki"-thing. Doubt Brick wall
