Hi everyone! Long time, no post!
I have a question: What is the most efficient way to sterilize a facial sponge or cloth? I tried placing the sponges in boiling water, is this effective? What other methods are there?
I know this will sound ridiculous to some but I get so depressed when I breakout and even when I just get those tiny white bumps (but many of them), placed randomly on my face...so I can't stand to touch my actual face with my bare hands/ fingers. So, I resort to using a facial sponge or wash cloth to cleanse my skin.
Any suggestions?

I would think that boiling them should do the trick.
I would stay away from bleach and harsh detergents or boosters (i.e.OxyClean)- they will definetely "kill" anything in your sponges/washcloths, but they can also leave a residue behind that you would then be rubbing on your face. |
