Okay, where else could I ask this question and not get laughed at?
I've had tremedously good results in getting rid of the tiny bumps on my upper arms with Dove's exfoliating scrub, an exfoliating mitt, and Eucerin Intensive skin cream.
I'd like to do the same with my back. I purchased an exfoliating back strap for the shower that works great but I can't get the moisturizer everywhere. Just not enough yoga, I guess!
Anyway, out of frustration, I'm very close to hitting the tanning salon which always works...but I really don't want to. Any ideas for getting a smooth application of moisturizer all over the back? It's tough living alone! |

m...maybe you could get a big strip of saran wrap and put it on there then do the daffy duck towel drying thing with it?
I remember h20+ having a stick you put lotion into and you massage it onto your back. That was last christmas and i think it may have been discontinued. |

I use a cheapy Nivea or Garnier moisturising body *mist*. It comes in a bottle that you can spray upside down (or at least the Nivea does). I'm not sure if I'm more flexible than you but that seems to work for my back |

... I make my own body scrub (after reading about it in the DIY thread), olive oil + salt + lemon essential oil, and gently massage it into my back and rest of body. Probably not the sort of thing you do in the morning before work - more of a Sunday pampering sort of thing The thing is it really works, smooths the skin and nurtures it. I don't need to moisturize for a few days after doing that.
If you're having a hard time reaching all over your back, here's an idea! u could always use your back-strap thing, and a mixture of oil and EO without the salt in the shower. Use to gently massage the oil in and about on your back...you come out clean, exfoliated and moisturized!
...just an idea |
