After the last few months, I probably need some relaxation, especially sleep and time to let the mind wander. In addition, there's a neglected flat in need of emergency cleaning. And I'll go to the gym, and probably even bake bread.

Conclusion: maybe a couple of days off aren't that bad, after all Laughing

I'm going away for five weeks and I think one week of that will be "withdrawal from technology" symptoms and worrying about all the work that is coming in and not being done. Then when I get back, it'll be catching up on 5 weeks of work - almost not worth going on holidays!!! Brick wall

So I can relate to Mabsy's comment wondering if its all worth it. What works for me are long holidays of at least a week's duration - I'm unplugged long enough that I manage to not care Laughing

And this is just for the first job (yep he has 2). The other job requires one night and most cases 1 day/night on the weekends. But hey he's been known to put in 20hrs/week on the 2nd job. Sheesh. Embarassed

Sorry this is so long winded. Yep this doesn't leave much time for "us", he usually sleeps/naps on the weekends because he's so exhausted. Oh gosh this is a bone of contention with me--and he has gotten so much better Exclamation
