I'm 25, asian, with acne-prone skin (now). About a year ago I suddenly had a major break- out because I wore compact powder that apparently blocked my pores everyday (it was from KOSE). Before that my skin was even in color, hardly any blemish at all, damn it it was almost bloody perfect *sigh....*
After the horrid break-out I went to the dermatologist and got a peeling cream to put on my face everynight plus roaccutane. For 4 months my face was always red, burned, dry and flaky. It was a horrible moment. Now, I still have acne sometimes, but not as bad. After experiencing sudden and frustrating break-out, I now feel very afraid to put anything on my face, i don't wear sunscreen or moisturizer or foundation, i sometimes use translucent powder but that's as far as I go.
The other day I went to KOSE counter and had my skin examined and the salesgirl said my skin was very thin due to vigorous peeling I had. I've stop using the peeling cream for 3 weeks now, and trying to find products that will "feed" my skin so my skin is plump and not as thin. SK II commercial is really mesmerizing, so i've bought the facial treatment essence and whitening source but i'm too afraid to use it cause i'm afraid it will trigger break-out(I'm seriously traumatized). Maybe someone tried it before? Please share your experience.
