Tea Tree Eye Gel

I saw a 'tea tree eye gel' at a drug store and I'm kinda tempted to try it. It claims to help with puffiness, eye circles, and fine lines. With continue use, u can prevent lines from appearing. It's more like a preventive measure. What do you girls/ guys think about it? Thanks! Very Happy

What else is in it? What sort of container is it in? I ask because there are several tea tree products that come in clear containers ... which means that the smell might be tea tree but it's rendered ineffective at best because essential oils need to be protected from light with, at the very least, amber glass.

To my mind, tea tree would be almost too strong to have near the eye area ... but that could just be my own preferences coming to the fore.

However, without knowing what else is in the gel it's hard to say how good or poor it would be.

I would be very wary of a product that claimed to be able to "prohibit" the formation of lines etc through its continued use. In my experience, such things as lines and other signs of aging have as much to do with heredity as they do with what products one does and doesn't use.

I'm sure you can retard or minimize the effects of aging by looking after your skin, eyes etc ... but unfortunately I don't believe you can preclude it entirely.
