I received (NOT from EDS, but another website) on Nov. 19 the Cellex-C Advanced C Eye Firming Cream and the bottom of the Cellex box it came in says: BEST USED BY 11/2005.
I have not opened the jar yet. I have only 10 days to use a $90US jar of cream? Do you think I should return the product? I am actually kind of irritated that this website I have purchased from before, is giving me old product.
Do you think the cream is fine to use considering Vit. C's short shelf life?
Sorry, I am rambling. As I am sure you all have experienced the euphoria of getting your skincare products in the mail and it was kind of a let down. |

Although I think expiry dates are probably often made shorter than necessary in order to be on the safe side, the potency of the vitamin C might be affected. (I'm no expert, though.)
But, on principle, I'd definitely contact the site you bought this from in any case, as it's not very fair to sell you something that's so near its expiry date. Especially not something that is so expensive.
Poor you, it must have been a real disappointment. |

| I agree with majorb. I would contact the company and request a refund, or replacement with a fresher product. I don't know what actives are in this eye cream, but when you spend that kind of money on skin care products, you deserve fresh product. |

It's Monday morning and I have the eye cream with me at the office, so I will call the company when they open and I guess I will have to ship it back.

| I spoke with a representative at the company, and they said all they had left in stock was the Cellex-C eye cream which expires 11/2005. So, they are ordering fresh product and will send me the eye cream when they get it in, and will give me a shipping label to send the old one back. Yay! |
