the inner corner of my under eye area is very rough.. not only does it have a bunch of little bumps but it also has little rough lines that extend beyond my under eye area it makes my right eye look different than my left.. the texture is just really rough and scaley looking.. does anyone know what to look for to fix this or make it better? i was thinking an eye cream with glycolic acid. |

I´ve heard MD formulations vit-a-plus eye creme is great for millia (the white bumps). I´ve just ordered it myself, I´ll let you know how it works. |

MDF vit-a-plus still ha glycolic acid in it, so it might help. I´ve read that it could be a bit drying, so you might want an additional eye cream or gel. |

It does sound like a bit of drying skin. My eye area will become dry and a bit rough in during the colder months if I don't moisturize well. Eye makeup and concealer will dry the skin. I would avoid applying any type of eye makeup or concealer for a few days. Depending on skin sensitivity, you may want to pat a drop of a non-irratating oil, such as avocado on it. At night, I would use something more emollient, such as a balmy eye cream, or possibly vaseline? Many people don't like the idea of using vaseline on their skin, but it does a decent job of healing and protecting dry skin if nothing else is available! Skinceuticals eye balm is very good for this type of dryness. It's rich, non-irritating and does a good job of creating a protective barrier for you skin when out in the cold weather. |

SuperCelebs - I would guess that you sleep on the right side? That might explain why the right eye area looks worse than the left. I have the reverse problem. My problem was milia under the left eye, but I also had some drying there, too, as you're experiencing. I've had unexpected success with Decleor's Vitaroma Eye and Lip cream. The milia have flattened and I find that the cream provides just the right amount of moisure for this delicate area. Also takes away any puffiness. |

i dont think its from drying.. i think its from rubbing my eyes so much in the summer when i had allergies.. because now i have little lines there too which makes it look even worse.. and i need something smooth the skin under my eye out.. because right now the inner corner is really scaley and the outer part of my under eye area is smoother. |

I forgot to mention that the Decleor Vitaroma smooths the area and does reduces lines very well in addition to moisurizing, etc. |

i think im going to use a glycolic acid eye product.. but do you think that 3% glycolic would have a good effect on evening out the texture of the under eye area or would something stronger be better. |
