Hi everyone!
I am wondering if anyone tried Sally Hershberger line?
Celebrities who are using it are: Bette Midler, Sofia Coppola, Rene Russo
that I know of so far
I have read that when Bette Midlar was on Larry King live, after ten minutes on air...their lines were full asking the Larry King staff what she did with her skin. That got my attention and now I am interested.
It has been in magazines lately but I am interested to hear what you think.
Her web site iswww.shfaceplace.com
Please let me know...I would really appreciate it. |

The Sally Hershberger line is Hair care products - she is a celebrity stylist who charges something like $600. a haircut - made famous by Meg Ryan's shaggy do.... |

Actually I was curious if anyone had tried them. THey sell at Walgreen's - I was shocked about that one but I guess more people will buy if it's in a drugstore.
Still the products are around $12.00 an item. |

To me, this appears to be simply another example of someone licensing their name. And what does she know about skincare? She's a hairstylist. |

I love her style and haircuts but I don't trust her with skincare. She can have an opinion but this seems to be a money grab in some form. How much money does she need? I have more respect for John Masters stuff as the ingredients have been researched and put together properly and he made a lifestyle change and it reflects also in his salon.
I looked at the sensitive skin cleanser and its incredibly unremarkable in that it should cost $30. It reminds me of Cetaphil. I didn't know she also had a clothing line. Wow, I used to really respect her. |

From what I've read she's really kind of haughty. I guess she figured she'd capitalize on her hair fame. Shame. |

Ah too bad, but I can see that from her appearing on that show about hairstylists. Some of the stuff they wanted them to do and use was ridiculous as no one would ever be trying to cut hair with garden shears! Good TV but dangerous! |

I certainly wouldn’t mind her doing my hair, but I’ll pass on the skincare.
She also has/had a clothing line under her name, I think Shagg, or some such name. Saw it a while back online. Actually some of the Tshirts weren’t bad, kind of rock chick type thing, if I recall correctly... |
