Hi everybody. I just found this place and love all the great advice. There's so much great advice on here though that I am totally confused as to what to try. Embarassed My main problem used to be dark spots and I got the Rodan and Fields Reverse regimen almost a month to try and help with those, but now my skin is totally dry and I am seeing wrinkles now!!!!!!!! UGGGHHHHH Shock This in my opinion is much worse than the stupid spots. At least I could somewhat cover up those spots with a good concealer. I've incorporated St. Ives Oil Free moisturizer into the Reverse regimen (I use it after Step 3), but when I smile I still see lots of nasty wrinkles (mostly seen on my cheeks). I know these wrinkles are from my skin having become so dry due to the Reverse Regimen. Anyway, can someone please lend any advice on the wrinkles problem (a really good moisturizer?) and anyone had results with the Reverse regimen on fading dark spots?
Please help. P.S. By the way I am 27 years old. I'll be chcking back as often as possible for replies but if anyone here would like to, please email me advice about my skin probs to gamergirl96@yahoo.com

Hello and welcome!

I personally have never tried the "Reverse Method" or any Rodan and Fields products. It does sound like the products you mentioned have really sucked your skin dry Exclamation Shock
I would advise that you try a moisturizer that isn't oil free at the moment. Your skin may be dehydrated as well as being dry. What is your skin type (prior to Rodan & Fields)? Are there any ingredients that you have found in the past have irritated your skin?? I would suggest something containing hyaluronic acid prior to your moisturizer(this helps greatly with hydration). Some suggestion are Reviva (found atwww.vitaminshoppe.com or some health food stores), Skinceuticals B5 gel and another by Clinique(I'll have to get back to you on the name). For a moisturizer there are so many choices. You may want to try Cetaphil cream (many people have good luck with this, especially now that it's cold). I use and like MD Forte's Replenish Hydrating Cream(www.dermadoctor.com will provide samples if in stock). Using a good /mositurizing/hydrating mask at least 1x/week is VERY beneficial. Here again the choices are endless. Dermalogica makes a great one, Multi Power Recovery Mask. This is another product I use and love Exclamation Remember also to wear a stable sunscreen. Please do a board search for product selections. You'll find many people like Dr. Haushka (sp)--for a nice hydrating mask. I hope your problem resolves itself--which it should. Very Happy Hope this helps.

Lisa
