I have recently stood on and hence broken my GHD straigteners, I have had them for years, since they came on the market and have sworn by them ever since. I have naturally wavey/curley hair and it can be quite unmanageable, but these have been my saviour.

I was wondering though if anyone has used GHD's and has found either a better straightener, or the equivalent for less money?

I figured 4 years down the line, many scars later, the straightener market is a lot more competitve than it was but with so many straighteners which do you choose, especially not to be disappointed after GHD's.

I have heard mantions of T3 and Sedu straighteners which could be as good but does anyone have any advice or opinions on this matter?

Thanks,
Gem

hi ya

just to let u know i tortured myself over the past 3 weeks trying to decided between ghd's, coriollis ones i had tried and sedus which i had read great reviews about. I finally went for the sedus which arrived last week - only 4 days for delivery which was very efficient. The deciding factor was that they were ionic and had tourmaline and they stated that they didnt damage ur hair as much. Anyhows i have fine -ish hair which has qutie a few highlights in it and tends to be quite wavy, but the sedus gave me a hairdresser like finish and today my hair is still poker straight - even the hairdressers blow dry and straightening woulnt have lasted as long so so far i am happy. In total with postage they cost me approx £92 - i went for the 1 and 1/2 inch ones as i have shoulder length hair.

Hope this helps
Nic

I've used GHD and Kodo - available from hairdresses suppliers and great on my thick, long, wavy hair.

Hi,

I'm not familiar w/GHD, but I've heard great things about Chi ceramic irons. Pricey though.
