I thought it would be interesting to see what make-up everyone uses and we may all discover something new worth trying Wink

*What is your skin type?
*Daily make-up regime
*If your on a night out somewhere special is your make-up regime different?

Good day Rosebud. Very good thread!

I have a normal skin (oily t-zone.

Every day

Thats it! At night I just intensify and I may add MAC power point eyeliner.

I have oily skin that's becoming more normal. I wash my face, top my lashes with Dr. Hauschka or Ecco Bella black mascara and a nice neutral shade of lipstick on my lips, sometimes I use Dr. H eyeliner in the green/grey color.

I have very dry skin.

During daytime I use either:

Tesco Barbara Daly's Make-up Facelift Primer
Pure Luxe What Red Powder for red blemishes
Jane Iredale Circle Delete for undereye circles
Jane Iredale Amazing Base in Satin
Stila Blush Pot in Waterlily
Molton Brown Mascara in Entrance (not every day, only when I'm going out and about)
MAC Brow Set in Clear
Blisteze Cream for Lips

Or sometimes I only apply the MAC Brow Set and Blisteze.

For night time:

Tesco Barbara Daly's Make-up Facelift Primer
Pure Luxe What Red Powder for red blemishes
Jane Iredale Circle Delete for undereye circles
Jane Iredale Amazing Base in Satin
Stila Rouge Pot in Waterlily
MAC Paint in Stilife
Stila Smudge Pot in Grey
YSL Aqua-Resistant Mascara in Purple
Stila Lip Glaze in Berry

Edited as I got the name of the MAC Paint wrong! Embarassed

Not really into major makeup but for day, for my combo/aging skin, I use:

LRP Dermo-Ped Spf 40 spray
Chanel Quick Cover Concealer
Benefit Cream Blush (Peachy)
Body Shop Born Lippy Clear lip gloss
Estee Lauder More than Mascara
Revlon Cream Eyeshadows in Naturally Nude

At night, I'll add dark eyeliner on top lid, white liner to inner eye corners, Scott Barnes Diamond Dust and YSL Touche Eclat for highlighting. I'll also use a lip liner.

AM routine is:
- Jurlique Rose Silk Dust
- Pure Luxe What Red? to cover any red patches/blemishes
- Pure Luxe Creamy Natural Foundation
- T LeClerc Banane Pressed Powder
- Ariane Poole Eyeliner Gel
- then a lip balm (which one depends on my mood)
I sometimes use the following in my routine:
- BeneFit Dandelion or Tesco Barbara Daly blush in Apricot
- Tesco Barbara Daly Light Effect Concealer (if I haven't had enough sleep and the dark circles are showing)
- Ardell Brow & Lash Accelerator (if I remember to put it on Embarassed )

PM regime would be the same but I would throw in an E.L.F. lipgloss and an eyeshadow (don't have a favourite, it depends on what I'm wearing). If I am using eyeshadow I will have to use the Lumene Eye Make-up Base otherwise it will disappear on my oily eyelids.

Day:
Lorac Oil Free Neutralizer (small amount mixed with moisturizer)
Tarte Cheek Stain in Tickled Peach
Dermalogica Total Eye Care
Sephora Eye Dew in Horizon
MAC "Bark" shadow used with a damp slanted brush as eyeliner.
Tarte 24/7 Lip Sheer in Sunday

Night:
Lorac Oil Free Neutralizer (small amount mixed with moisturizer)
MAC Concealer (thinly applied with a brush just under the eyes on any red spots)
Tarte Cheek Stain in Tickled Peach
MAC "Burle" shadow over whole lid
MAC "Omega" shadow in outer corner
MAC "vanilla" just under the brow with a dry slanted brush
MAC "Bark" shadow used with a damp slanted brush as eyeliner.
MAC "Cordoroy" shadow used with a dry slanted brush as brow liner.
MAC Spice lip liner all over lips
Make Up For Ever Super Lip Gloss in #13 just on the center of the lips.

As you can see, I love MAC colors. And I learn a new trick every time to get my face done at their counter. The thin lighter shadow under the brows to open up a sagging brow and the spot concealer blended with a flat shadow brush insted of foundation where both tricks from the MAC makeup arists.

Combo skin:

Everyday after the whole skincare do-up

1. Lancome Photogenic Ultra compact when I bother, otherwise nothing.
2. Bobbi Brown Espreso eyeshadow with slanted brush on brows.
3. BB soft shimmer Malted eyeshadow all over lid (for the 'no-make-up-but-don't-I-look-fresh-and-awake?' look)
4. BB Espreso with slanted brush to line eyes.
5. BB blush in Tawny
6. MAC lipstick in Twig, or BB lipstain in Clay or BB lipstick in Clove or Rum Raisin or some other shade to match my outfit.

Special occasions

The same as above, except that I have to put on the powder, add an eye colour to match the outfit plus stronger eyes (using Maybelline liquid eyeliner but I'm eyeing BB's gel liner) and a little gloss (MAC Glass)

You are? I'm on my fifth!!! Laughing I even got a tube for my birthday two years ago because my friend saw how madly in love I am with that colour.

I'm an addict to the MAC color line, especially their netural eye colors and the Studio Fix wet/dry foundation. If only they'd introduce fillable mega pallettes like Stila does.

My picks for "don't I look great but I'm not really wearing make up" are:
Eyeshadow "form" for warmer skins and "velor" for pinky skin.
Spice lip liner over the whole mouth, blot agressively and cover with clear balm like Dr H's lip balm.

I'd do stain for cheeks, sadly MAC doesn't make any.

I don't add anymore colours for the evening look. I basically make the colours more intense.

I use:

Cle de Peau concealor (if needed)
Chanel
Irreelle Duo/20 Orient Express for eye shadow
La Ligne De Chanel Noire et Marine eye liner
Le Crayon Levres (Precision Lip Definer) in Nude
Aqualumiere #49 Java lipstick
Glossimer #63
Reflex blush
MAC Blot Film
Lancome black mascara

This is what I normally wear to work or going out in the evening.

Otherwise,

I just wear lipgloss or Rosebud lip balm.

Just recently started wearing makeup on a daily basis:

-Smashbox wet/dry powder
-either smashbox skin tints or a cheap anabelle blush
-London Drugs brand beeswax lip balm (exactly the same ingredients as bert's bees for much less Very Happy )

For a night out I do the same routine with very few additions (but really play up my eyes):

-MAC eyeshadow
-clear mascara
