Hi all,
I'm busy with final exams right now but thought I'd drop a few lines on some products I've been trying
Valmont eheheheeh . . . I almost wish I hadn't tried this line since it's costing me a fortune hee hee
Dermatosic is a "soothing" cream for rosacea or redness or inflammations. I had a jawline breakout (seems like this is popular nowadays -- but I've started to catch myself when I rest my chin on my hands). The Dermatosic is more of a lotion but VERY soothing. It's the IDEAL thing to use after extractions or if you have been picking at your skin -- it'll help relieve some of the pain / redness and will help the area heal a lot faster than usual. I have a bad "picking" habit and I've been using Dermatosic to see how it works -- and it really does heal the area (although I hope this doesn't make me want to pick MORE ha ha).
I don't really use it in other areas of my face -- just the areas or spots that are red and inflammed -- Dermo (what it's called sometimes) really helps soothe the redness. I'm not sure if it helps reduce acne -- I'm mostly using it on areas that are healing from extractions. But it doesn't CAUSE acne, that's for sure.

Valmont Dermatosic Serum (15 ml)
Treatment for unsightly, recurrent signs of skin problems of an inflammatory nature.
Excellent for active rosacea.. Prevents and strengthens walls of fragile capillaries with anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties. Its active ingredients help reduce redness and flaking, and relieve discomfort. Very soothing.

| Cool! I have a few samples as well and never knew what they were for. chunlisa, I have the same problem with jawline breakout, I think these are hormonal induce acnes and I positively hate them, they are painful and ugly and huge. If Dermatosic really helps it would be God send because I have had this problem for the last 10 years. Thanks for sharing! |

| Hey everyone...I don't have acneic skin (thank goodness!) but I happened to be reading about outbreaks on the jawline the other day and it said most of them were caused from face washing in which you stop at your jawline. If you don't wash past it (down your neck) then products/oil/dirt can build up along this line. I thought that was pretty good reasoning although it doesn't explain it if people aren't stopping their face washing at the jawline. Best of luck to everyone! |

When I had the Valmont facial in a spa in May, I got few breakouts at that time and the beautician gave me a 5ml sample of Dermatosic to try. She said that this treatment/comforting cream is great for breakouts, acnes and some other skin problems. After using this for a few days, I was surprised as it really helps to speed up the healing process of my breakouts and bumps without drying out the skin. Besides, the acne scars are less noticeable too.
I use it quite frequently but still haven't finished the sample yet...a little goes a long way. I'm still not sure to get the full size or not. Isn't it too expensive to buy something at that price just to heal local affections such as flaking, rashes, inflammation, itching? |

| I wanted to update as I've been using my sample everyday as a local treatment for some of my inflammated acne. I've been getting a lot these days - so much I never look in the mirror anymore - because it is that time of the month, sigh, and nothing seems to help. This has come in handy and really does help calm down redness especially in the mornings it's nice before putting my makeup on (I'll have less trouble covering things up). Seeing how my skin is suddenly going haywire I might consider purchasing this. I'm sure an ounce will last me ages since it's only used locally. It's not oily, doesn't make me breakout and takes away redness and promotes healing. Things like this you never think of purchasing or needing it but it's so good to have around when the time comes that you need it. |

| Dermatosic works really well on irritated skin after intensive skin care treatments like microdermabration or chemical treatments with glycolic acid. |

Does it help healing the acne marks. My marks are couple of years old and they are still quite visible. |
