oookk..PLEASE HELP! =]
my skin is sooo sensitive!it seems to be always red ever sence i started having to use face wash bc of my acne prone skin.
my skin is combination(very oily in my t-zone), VERY acne prone, horibly sensitive skin.
you would think i should just use a gentle face wash with no harsh ingredients..well i tryed that and it didnt help my acne =[
im just now starting to get facials every 2-3 mounths and i use bioelems... i use the acne face wash and day time spot treatment..my face is very red and getting very dry the 3d day iv been using it!
please help! what should i use for my hard skin type?
just so you know.. these are things iv tried:
*clinigue-3 step
*mario badagascu-botanical cleanser, drying lotion, *special seeweed toner
*ceaphil-normal-dry cleanser
*DDF-blemish foaming cleanser
*Differin cream from dermontalogist
*Purpose soap
*ProActive
*Neutrogena sensitive skin solutions-oily and combonation
alot more also!!

ahh help! i hate my acne and red skin!=[

Sorry to hear about the trouble you've been having with your skin. I would imagine that it's very difficult to deal with acne prone sensitive skin as most anti-acne products are on the harsher side.

When you say that you have tried Cetaphil and it didn't help your acne, did your skin calm down at that time? Have you tried any natural skincare lines or do you know if your skin is likely to be reactive to natural ingredients? I'd suggest YonKa Juvenil over just a very gentle sensitive skin cleanser but I don't know if your skin can handle natural ingredients.

Also, another option (which I don't know much about but I guess Caspers Mum, and others too, might make suggestions on) might be to go to a dermatologist and see if they would recommend an oral pill that helps with the acne instead of using topical treatments.

It could also be overdoing it with the drying cream, proactive and differin at the same time. Maybe pick just one of those. My son tried Differin and had dry, red oversensitive skin plus more breakouts. With Cetaphil you are on the right track to getting your PH in check. Do you think you might have rosacea with your acne? If so, a lot of products can overaggrevate it.
