Good evening/morning ladies and gentlemen. I have great pleasure in announcing on this hot and humid night that...... Dori is the winner of this week's gift certificate! Congratulations and enjoy spending it
Now I'm off to have my 5th or 6th shower for today. Too much info? It is *really* humid here tonight, or at least I am still recovering from a cold and it makes the 90% humidity seem unbearable at the moment. On the bright side, the frequent showers will make me use up more body lotion - which is a good thing because space in my bathroom is at a premium recently... |

Since we're talking weather....it is 13 degrees here in Northern Michigan and so far this winter we have had 141-inches of snow. Only about 2-feet still on the ground though.
Congrats Dori!!! Let us know what you decide on.

Didn't realize OZ was such a steamy place
Here in Chicago been VERY lucky weather wise. Only 1 major snow fall which is long long gone. Right now is 36, been averaging low to mid 40's - not too shabby for ChiTown winters! |

Hey Mabsy, Sympathy re the humidity! Hope you have dodged the recent hailstones too...saw that on the news the other night.
Normally its a dry heat here in Adelaide but this summer so far has been humid too, which means the evaporative A/c we have does basically nothing! I wish weather was bad to normal..... |

Thank you Yes, I cheated and escaped to Tasmania for most of last week It was for work, but still it was nice to be in 20 Celsius and practically no humidity I hope the Adelaide weather settles down for you - I always thought that Adelaide is pretty dry. Didn't realise you guys went through humid spells as well... |
