The amounts of HA and Biocell Type II collagen in both bottles are completely identical. To me, it looks like the only difference is the fact that for the 60 pills containing 100mg of HA the daily recommended dose is 1 pill per serving, while the 120 pills containing 50 mg of HA recommends taking *two* pills per serving. Either way, if you follow their dosing recommendations, you’d still only be taking a total of 100 mgs of HA per day.
You know it’s funny that you posted this question right now because just yesterday I placed my own order for the 60 pills/100mg Source Naturals yesterday when I discovered thatwww.iHerb.com (from whom I usually get my HA/collagen pills) had the Source Naturals on back-order for the 4th time in the last 7 weeks!
For the record, I believe that this one is the more economical choice: http://www.vitacost.com/SourceNaturalsHyaluronicAcid-100mg-60Tablets/searchby-PN/searchtext-Source%20Naturals%20Hyaluronic%20Acid

How many mg are you supposed to take a day? I can't remember!
The one thing that concerned me what if the type is not skin enternal. I have noticed that my skin is softer since I started taking these pills and my mom says that she skin feels plumper, not as visable wrinkles!
Thanks! |

For lip plumping purposes, at least 60 mgs of HA. |

Thatgirl, keep in mind that HA supplements are also used to address joint disease, etc. There are alot of HA supplements out there WITHOUT biocell II/ collagen. They may help some things, but they won't do much for your skin or your lips. The addition of collagen seems to act as a catalyst, etc.
Beyond that, the only difference I noticed between the two different Source Naturals supplements you mentioned were the dosage contained in one tablet. |

Hi.
I've just bought some hyaluronic acid. After reading your messages I had a look at the back of the pot and my tablets are only 20mg! It said to take two, but I'm assuming if i want the lip and skin plumping effects I should take nearer to five a day?! What I'm more concerned about is there is no mention of collagen in the ingredients, does this mean they wont have the desired effect? I do take collagen supplements, so would mixing the two work the same? Financially this isn't a great option as the collagen tablets alone are £20. obviously it's going to make more sense to buy the one tablet all included, but do you think my option may work for now?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Appreciate any info.
thanks |

Taking separate HA and collagen supplements SHOULD work, although it is best if the collagen is "Biocell Type II."
Furthermore, taking plain HA pills (you need at least 60mg per day to start seeing any effects) will work, but not as well as taking the HA and Biocell Type II Collagen supplements together. |
