I have never tried Jane Iredale but i am in need of new makeup. Is Jane Iredale makeup worth the cost? |

My mom and I both use it and really like it.
I suggest going to a spa and getting a colour consultation and application to get a feel of the product and see how you like it. My mom went to raintree day spa in Richmond to get her colour consultation done (if that's closer for you than EDS).

It's definitely worth the cost for me. I use the pressed JI foundation and it's the easiest to apply and looks very natural. I found Glo Minerals to be about the same, and I prefer both of those to Bare Escentuals. Still, this is a personal preference and it takes some practice to figure out what you prefer. Get some samples if you can |

My experience with JI was not so good as other people. My wrinkles showed deeper, my pores was enlarged and it gave me too much shine on my face. As Mabsy said get some samples before you purchase the full size. Hopefully it'll work out for you. I'm currently using Larenim MMU and really like it. My application trick is: Do not try to cover everything on the 1st layer and the 1st layer has to be very, very light. It took me about one month to find my way. Do not get frustrated if you did not like the result for the first few time you apply it. It take time to get used to it. |

I don't know if they have samples but you can ask them to match your shade and put on makeup for you. I did it twice free of charge before I purchased anything. If you have dry skin tell them to put some moisturizer on you first otherwise you'll look at least 10 years older. Wait for 15 ~ 30 minutes before you judge it. Good luck. |

The spa my mom and I went to didn't have samples. skin-etc.com sells them, but they say they don't ship JI to canada anymore. They may still, I don't know..haven't ordered from them in a while |
