I was thinking that it might be good to have a stickied post on this board where people could put up some duty free pricing info.
For example, when someone goes overseas, they could put a few pricings of popular cosmetics/make-up they see at the airport DF stores.. or even list some unusual brand findings (they do La Mer and Jurlique at Narita). Same for inflight duty free. It would help people know where to buy for the best bargains when they travel.
I first had the idea for this post last July when I purchased a chanel lipgloss duty free at Narita (Tokyo) and then I compared the price retail and duty free in Oz and was stunned how cheap our Japan prices were (even retail).
I know for Aussies traveling to Europe or US via Asia, it is hard to know what to buy and where because you have 3 different choices for shopping.
It would take a while for the list to grow, but as it would be ongoing we could all benefit over time.
