I googled some info so will paste it, (now it just confirmes some of the things I just said previously)
A few drops of Squalane applied to the skin will keep the skin moist and wrinkle free. Squalane has also been used to speed wound healing.

Hi Mardy, This product sounds incredible  . Thanks so much for taking the time to share it with us!! If you find out if they ship internationally (I'm in the US) that would be great, or I also found a few resources online. Just let me know if there's anything I need to look out for besides the organic aspect. |

| I hope they ship to Canada also. I'm using jojoba oil now as a moisturizer, which I love, but after reading all the benefits of squalane oil, I am tempted to try it instead. |

| Right now on google there is suddenly a whole lot on both squalane and squalene, the latter seems to be from shark oil or something like that and I read somewhere that it has mercury and is not recommended. I don't know where the former comes from. Interesting stuff as are most things once one digs deeper. Have to run now, but will continue to dig! |

From what I have read, squalene can be from shark liver oil, or from botanic sources such as olives. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Squalene

Hey Everyone - Another great place to buy your Squalane oil from is Skinbio.com. If anyone is using copper peptides at all, the guru of these products, Dr. Loren Pickart, suggests regular use of Squalane oil and recomends you use it on top of your CP's to enhance it's effects. Squalane acts an an 'agent' that can push the copper peptide deeper into your skin, much the same way Emu oil can. For those using stronger copper peptides, applying Squalane as a "pre-treatment" is another way to deliver the copper peptides into your skin and at the same time prevent some of the irritation that can occur with the stronger strengths.

Hi Diana! You know what, I think there was a typo on the EDS product description for the Ice Elements Squalane and this is what is causing the confusion. If you look at an up-close shot of the Ice Elements product, it clearly says Squalane on the bottle. The product verbiage also includes the spelling of Squalane (with the second 'a') from the second sentence onwards in the description. HTH's... |

Some people do not do well with glycolic peels. It really depends on your skin type and issues. I've only had one professional facial but the feedback I got from the aesthetician made me back off on glycolic peels for my face. She told me to focus on moisturizing and that microdermabrasion would be better for my skin (manual exfoliation) rather than chemical (like glycolic). She also told me to avoid drying masks (meaning ones that dry on your skin like ones that have clay in them). With my skin, she told me, HYDRATE, HYDRATE, HYDRATE.
With a change in focus and methods, I've seen great improvement in my skin since that facial in January. I also agree with other posts about hydrating from within (drinking lots of water, taking essential fatty acid supplements, and possible hyaluronic acid supplements too) and without with external moisturizers (experiment to find which one/s work best for you).

| Wow I thought I was the only one that got the little pore wrinkles around my cheeks! I am convinced mine is caused by glycolic because they all started a few months after I began using a glycolic toner for my acne. So then I was switched to Retin A and I'm getting even more of them. I'm convinced that these exfoliaters do the opposite for my skin as they are suppose to do for everyone else. Although they have kept the acne away. I guess you can't win either way. |

| You might also try a microdermabrasion cream, such as Epidermx. I think manual exfoliators might tend to be less drying than chemical ones. And Epidermx (and other microdermabrasion creams) exfoliate very well, IMO. |

Hi, I'm interested too in knowing how everyone has got on. My small wrinkles are now affecting the under eye area which is starting to look kind of crinkly and no eye cream seems to be helping right now.
I'm also interested in buying Squalane, I've searched in the "ingredients" here at EDS, it appears on the list but then once searched nothing comes up. Does anyone know of any other place appart from skinbio.com?? I've searched but don't find much... |

Hi so i had the same problem.as you i tried the Roc eye cream and got a rreaction large pores caused lines across my cheeks and mine started from under eye and went down to my cheeks ... i was told its dehydration but i knew its dead skin that needs to peel off
Ok so i used Jamieson provitamina A retinol renewal night cream
I swear i put it on night like a thick layer on both sides of my face and in morning all that dead skkn peeled off all those lines resulting from large pores gone ... try it i pray it works for you too ... you can find this cream in pharmacy section where they keep vitamins ... Good luck i hope it works ... i was so miserable for months but dont worry try it and keep doing it because retinol exfoliates skin and help build more collagen !! |
