gosa: I just ordered a Decleor mask to alternate with the Dr. H clay mask. I guess I'll have to wait to test any more stuf |

WOW WOW WOW I just got a sample of this Mask - I am in love - Results are almost the same as with Valmont Renewing Pack.... skin does look exactly the same, but doesn't feel the same afterwards. I am feeling somewhat tight now & I felt a need to apply a moisurazer after (never use one after Valmont's RP).
I like it enough to order a full size... I will wait for tomorrow to see if I will develop some pimples as some posters mentioned, & if not, I will definately buy it. Also I am feeling very firm, so I would assume people with more mature skin would enjoy it even more! |

i've been using this for about 2 months. it has a strong lemon smell and slightly stings upon application which slowly disappears halfway into the masking therapy. after washing it off, it leaves my skin smooth and less red after using it. i think it's a great mask, i think the effects are comparable to dermalogica's skin refining masque which is a bit cheaper. but i don't know which one i like better so i use both |

| Thanks for the review. I'm looking for a less expensive version of Valmont Renewing. I feel I should try this. Sounds good to me. |

| how does this compare to the dr. h rejuvenating mask? i've recently begun doing a homemade aspirin mask (with yogurt, honey, aloe vera juice, sugar, e.o.s, witch hazel hydrosol, and rhassoul clay) about 3 times a week, and was thinking about adding another mask to supplement (but that won't overdry me or flare up my blemish prone skin) . . . |

| I've tried both the Deep Penertrating Cream Mask and the Valmont Renewing pack. I think this mask feels more natural than the Valmont one. But the effect of the Valmont one is more noticable. |

Hello sark,
This mask is not similar to Dr.H's rejuvenating mask. Julique's DPC Mask is not an exfoliant. I also use Asprin mask regularly to fight blemishes. As Carekate mentioned before in her post, Jurlique's DPC can draw out pimples and blemishes but I never had that problem with it. It is still one of my favorite mask. |

Hello Carzie,
I also feel that Jurlique's DPC mask feels much more natural than Valmont' Renewing Pack. And it is a lot cheaper but still deliver noticeable results. |

Carzie, Wild Cat, thanks much for your comments Re: comparison with Valmont Renewing.
Also good to know it is different from DH Rejuvenating mask which doesn't work for me. |

Does anyone have both this mask and Cellcosmet Anti-stress Mask? It sounds similar to the Cellcosmet one based on Mabsy's description (skin looks brighter and more matte afterwards). |

I'm not a huge fan of Jurlique but I do think this mask smells divine. I agree that it's not a deep cleansing mask but I find that Jurlique masks are more on the hydrating side than deep cleansing and drawing- even the Moor Purifying Mask.
I prefer to apply a thick layer of this mask as I find that it dries very quickly when application goes on thin. Jurlique recs that their products be diluted prior to use but I find that unnecessary. Skin does feel soft but I think this is more an "experience" mask rather than a "results" mask. I do feel that the mask leaves a film behind (not oily but more silky film) so it's probably more suited for people with drier skin types. |

I personally think Jurlique's Deep Penetrating Mask was based on the Dr. Hauschka's Rejuvenating Mask. The products are very similar in texture and dries to similar consistency. Dr. Hauschka is slightly richer and it has a light herbal scent whereas Jurlique smells more citrus and lavender. Dr. Jurgen Klein of Jurlique apparently worked for Dr. Hauschka before he came up with his brand- I've found some of the products to be very similar.
Between the two I preferred Dr. Hauschka but Jurlique comes in a larger quantity. |

Personally I disagree with almost everything you said except that Dr. Jurgen Klein used to work for Dr. H. I still don't think the masks are in anyway similar in texture or effect. |

| WOW, everybody loves this mask but I don't! I've tired a couple of samples and I find the smell too strong. I also had more breakouts yet calendula already features in my skin care. I prefer Dr. H moisturizing mask or just plain avocado mashed up with or without yogurt. |

I have this mask on my face now. I just love the smell and its always a special treat for me. The trick is spraying water or hydrosols when it hardens then wait till dry again and then repeat. |

| Actually I don't think the "drying out fast" property of the DP mask is a bad thing. I think it works well for lifting and firming. The result is a visible difference. Skin looks bright when you wash away the dried clay. |
