          | updating for queenielau718:
I caved in and decided to try the samples on Saturday. The samples came in little cardboard containers, which looked quite substantial but I squeezed them, nothing came out for a while, so it was mostly air.

I tried the cleanser, toner, anti-ageing serum, eye cream and day cream.

As you'd expect from a line which markets itself as a serious 'actives' line, there was no feeling of luxury applying. It was all ok, not good not bad.

My face after applying was shiny, which I hate. I was at home on Sat, and we have a big mirror over our fireplace, and everytime I walked by I caught sight of my very shiny face.I find shine exaggerates my wrinkles and sag, so it was not a 'feel-good' day.

In the end I decided not to use the rest of the samples on my face (there isn't enough for a proper review on their efficacy, anyway), but rather on my chest instead which is badly sun-damaged, and I don't care if the skin there is shiny!

Maybe I will come back to this sometime, but the problem now is that I'm loving Valmont (it leaves my skin nice and matt), so I'd rather stick with that - until I'm bored!

In the past couple months, I've purchased travel kits from Valmont and Cellcosmet, and I've tried this sample pack from MLab; Valmont is my winner, with Mlab possibly second. Cellcosmet I found wierd - it made me greasy/shiny looking, then later very dry?
 Odd.

          | karenlee - Where do you get the Valmont travel kits? I don't see anything at the eds store.
 Sorry to get off topic......

          | Ruth Marion - I was in the middle of answering you here, then decided to move the answer to the Valmont Lovers thread, as it will be easier for others to access in the future if they are researching Valmont...so your answer is over there

This was my impression of MLab, as well. I used the travel kit and I did not find the products outstanding in the least.

I also agree with you on the shine factor exaggerating wrinkles!

          | exactly my sentiments. made my face so shiny that it looked v wrinkly. I like glowy not shiny. I also used the travel kit but stopped after short time. I couldnt stand the shine. I like semi matte products. Creams that sink right in! |

          | If you still have some left, try it on your chest. I'm have great success there, its doing what I had hoped Nia24 would do - but Nia gave me spots and was too stinky, I couldn't finish my travel kit. |

I thought this was new, Belinda. How long have you been using it?

          | Reviving this thread... I have been using the M Lab eye cream for about 3 months. I can't say I've noticed any significant difference, but it is moisturizing.
However, I was intrigued by this thread and I wanted to look into the rest of this line, especially the Sonic Tensor Eye Serum. Has anyone had good results with it?
I am looking to buy this serum as well as the anti aging blemish travel kit, as I am acne prone, stress/hormone related. Has anyone had success with their acne products?

Hautelook has M Lab products at 50% off till Thursday:
