Which is better overall for skin--sunscreen or a moisturizer with an SPF?
And why? |

Sunscreen is usually waterproof or can be. Moisturizers are not waterproof. |

FDA has said no SPF product can be marketed as waterproof. |

Whats best for you is what you will wear consistently and religiously. It has to be high enough and broad enough protection to screen out UVA and UVB but cosmetically elegant enough to actually make you want to wear it daily.
If you have to be out in the sun, pick something tenacious enough to stay on and not run down your face when you sweat. And reapply frequently!
I can tell you what I like but you may hate it, so its up to every one of us to find what we like. |
