Thanks for the info, rileygirl. I found a spa that sells their products but they are about 100 miles away soooo I'll just buy some samples I found on Amazon for only $5 each.
Do you use the puff or a brush to apply your orb? |
LOL. I wouldn't drive 100 miles to get them either! I use the little puff that comes with it and it works great for me. |

rileygirl,
Is this sold in stores or online only? I would think it would be so hard to find a color match. Had you tried any other MMU previously? I guess I could just buy a couple of the travel orbs to try. Any suggestions?
TIA

I bought this with a voucher after Riley recommended it on another thread and I love it! I have used a number of brands of MMU and this is just like silk going on. I use it both under MMU or alone and it's great on it's own for light coverage. I use a brush only because that's gotten to be such a habit after years of MMU! |

That's a great idea Dark Moon! If I can't get the right shade I can always buff on a bit of a MMU sample for color.
I bought samples from several companies a few years ago before I gave up the search. I spent so much time in the backyard with a mirror that my new neighbors either thought I was going through an identity crisis or was the most vain woman on the block. |

LOL That's too funny I go out with a mirror sometimes to see the hairs I want to pluck so my neighbors probably think the same!
I have the almost clear same shade as Riley and it's very "forgiving" it really blends well as it gives light coverage. I really like being able to just dust and go as I have reached that point where I have no need to do full makeup to go to the store or run basic errands but need the SPF regardless especially here in the Sunshine State! |

"Dust and go" sounds good to me but I still need eyes and mouth! |

I agree, There have just been times while caring for my dad and earlier my son just getting anything on was a feat! Vanity just flew out the door back then! Now I am working on taking care of me again, I sometimes think I forgot how! |

Nah, it's like riding the bicycle - we'll never forget - we just need to upgrade to a ten speed. |

You are absolutely correct, it's just a question of getting back in the habit of riding that bike! |

Thanks for all the reviews on Colorscience MMU, I'm always experimenting with new MMU and was very keen to try this range as it's sold thu EDS. I'm glad I read all the posts because it has provided me with a lot of hands on informations as far as colour and product choice. It's been very helpful |

I also use the Colorescience Sunforgettable SPF 30. I like it because you can brush it on when going out on your lunch break and it doesn't mess up your makeup that you applied earlier that day. I have had my tube since last summer.
Just a heads up, Colorescience just came out with the Sunforgettable SPF 50, so you might want to check it out:

Thanks for posting that Misty, I will have a look at it, I am really loving the product, the Orb that is, but I need to get my darling daughter something like this, she came home from the beach yesterday with nice red cheeks! Love this age they don't use their heads at times! |

rileygirl and Darkmoon..
I have the Colorscience 30 now and really like it! It's simple to apply, doesn't leave an oil slick on my face, doesn't create breakouts, and is a good enough price!
I did find it dulled my "glow" a bit tho so I brushed on a bit of the BE Clear Radiance across the tops of my cheeks and nose. It gives a more natural look on me.
Thanks you two for the information! (and all the others that followed) |

Riley gets the credit for steering me to the colorscience Zoftig, but I am glad you are happy with it too, I love it.
I adore the clear radiance it gives such a nice glow on the skin, I also have the rose radiance and really like that as well, I even use a touch over eyeshadow and middle bottom lip for that pouty look! |

The recommendation of friends in a ~ I tried Colorescience Sunforgettable SPF30 Zhezhi brush assessment of a very high sun protection that really changed my sunscreen oil is not some stereotypes do not seem to have bleached out recently to see a PTR only similar products
Zhezhi sunscreen formulations are physical experimental test results have 8 hours waterproof easy to use, but a little more nerve-racking is finished with the mop will not be felt after he wiped his face so often I think in the end there is no friction I bought the uniform A colorless powder he still has a polishing effect is better to distinguish it should turn this week without sunscreen a few zits that I really was very pleased ... |

Do any of you use the mist at the end of applying the makeup? I was about to buy a bunch of this makeup from my esthetician, when my skin reacted right after she sprayed the mist all over my face. I immediately felt a warming sensation and then my skin almost started to burn and turned red. The esthetician was very surprised because she has never seen a reaction to this makeup before. Anybody experienced something similar? |

I have been using colorescience sunforgettabe spf50 for years and absolutely love it. It has high spf protection with Titanium Dioxide 23.9% and Zinc Oxide 24.1%. I use medium color and I actually use it as foundation and setting powder. It goes on nicely and lasts and doesn't clog pores. I have to say it's a must for me everyday. Why I do not see it here at EDS now?
I used to buy it here. |
