I'm using retin a 0.5 carefully no major flaking but I'm so pale skinned and would like to try out a fake tan can this be done while using retin a, will it look awful and not work if the retin a is just exfoliating my skin. |

Hm, well if you're not flaking much it might look good for a small amount of time. Are you talking about spray tanning or a self tanning lotion? I flake quite a bit so neither of those would be an option for me. I don't know if if would be well spent money since it won't last that long, especially since you're usung Retin A. |

A couple of suggestions:
I am assuming this is for your face. Can you use a bronzing powder? Mineral makeup companies have a great selection and most offer sample sizes. One of my favorite companies is Meow. I got a bunch of samples at $1.00 each. I really like Surfer Cat for my fair skin.
Can you use a tinted concentrate mixed in your moisturizer? Dr H offers one.

I also have one from Bonne Belle.
If you really want a true self-tanner, I would probably go with a gradual one. I prefer gradual ones as it is a slow tan. If a mistake in application is made, it can be corrected easy.
I am not sure how long a self=tan would last if you are using exfoliate daily. |
