This is one of the few products I could actually recommend to others.

I believe it's so important to heal our bodies and skin from the inside, and then it's just as important to know where they are coming from. Isshogenki is a little pricey I would say, but definitely worth it, as they get the Squalene from the freshest water in New Zealand.

I take about 4 every day, and my skin which actually had been damaged by a laser is slowly healing, glowing more, and smoother.

I have even been told you can break these open and put the liquid directly onto you skin, although I have not tried this yet, but do plan to.

It's good also for inflammation and over all body health.

Has anyone else tried this?

I haven't heard of that supplement, but I do take fish oils and so am wondering if that's the same thing?

Yes it is also a fish oil, and I know there are a lot, I just had an unfortunate incident where I had my skin damaged by a laser which led me to do tons of research.

These days you can hardly trust anything you put in your mouth, even the things that are supposed to be healthy as the seas are polluted, animals injected with steroids etc.

Doing my research I found this product which is shipped from the cleanest waters to Japan, where it goes through the strictest quality control and packaging. It is linked to anti-cancer treatments, it helps regenerate cells which got me interested for my skin among other benefits.

Take this supplement consistently with up to 3 liters or water a day, and I bet you won't need to spend so much on face products. I take two each morning and two in the evening, but you can take up to 6 even.

I truly believe God gave us all the cures we need in nature, and this is curing us from the inside which is the best way to beat the damage caused by pollution, bad lifestyle choices and aging...

I also think we give up too soon on the right choices if we don't see immediate changes, well I do anyway, but i'm sticking to this as it takes two years for our bodies to completely renew themselves, and a month or two to notice small changes and I do believe this is helping in healing my skin.

I also use Psoria Gold cream which is made from turmeric.

I forgot to mention that I buy this online from the isshogenki store, so it's easy to purchase.

And I have still yet to try breaking the capsules and putting it straight onto my face, but I do plan to try this, maybe tonight.

Since the product is so fresh, it doesn't have a horrible fishy smell, so it shouldn't be too bad.

My friend also takes it and actually chews the capsules instead of swallowing with water. that's how I found out it wasn't a fishy taste or smell..

It looks like it is Squalene iP6 from deep-sea dogfish shark livers (see http://squaleneip6.blogspot.ca/2007/07/frequently-asked-questions.html ).

Here's another related article: Squalane--antioxidant of the future? http://www.naturalnutrition.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/squaleen.pdf

At $49.95 US per 100 caps, the recommended daily dose of 2-4 caps a day can get pretty pricey!

Thanks for posting those links, actually that's the exact brand i'm using from isshogenki, and yes I agree it's very pricey.

For me, I decided to start a healthier lifestyle, and heal my body from within. So what I did, was write down the calculations of every 'luxury' item I was spending my money on.

The face creams, makeup, coffee shops, sweet snacks, expensive lunches, and I was able to cut out enough things to buy this supplement to take monthly.

I guess it's a choice of how you want to live your life, and what is important to you. For me I'm switching from the coffees and expensive face creams which were not working for me, to this supplement, with less or no caffeine, lots more water, and a healthy lifestyle diet. And personally I see improvements that no face cream has yet done for me. As the articles you posted say, this supplement helps with cell renewal from within, and no face cream will do that for us...

I would actually love to hear more stories of other people that have chosen a healthy lifestyle and seen results.

Hi,

Could you give an update on your progress using this product please? Do you still feel your skin is benefiting from the capsules? My skin has been damaged by an over the counter retinol cream and so am in the same cycle of trying to repair my skin Sad Any advice would be much appreciated.

Would you mind sharing the name of the retinol product that damaged you skin?
