I have been taking this supplement on and off and while searching for something else I came across the reference below. I will increase my use of this. My skin is good and I am near 60 but this has other health benefits as well and if it really increases elasticity that is great!
Pycnogenol effects on skin elasticity and hydration coincide with increased gene expressions of collagen type I and hyaluronic acid synthase in women.

Interesting!
How long have you been taking this? Is this hard to find as a supplement?
I have seen this mentioned as a skin care ingredient (I forget the brand). |

I really like this supplement and started taking it several months ago. Aside from other benefits, I do believe it is good for the skin. I have been using the original one from Masqueliers. I also use their anthogenol. |

LondonJamie would you tell me where you get your heliocare please? The New Zealand source I had no longer sells it and I can't find anywhere else with it. |

Is pycnogenol derived from pine? I think that is the one I took and got a horrible eczema. Might have been a coincidence but when I stopped taking it, the weeping crustiness disappeared. |
