Sometimes I buy actives from Bulk Actives and today they sent me an email that they are selling Tinosorb M, which is considered one of the best UVA filters around.
https://www.bulkactives.com/bisoctrizole-tinosorb-m.html?search=tinosorb
The price is good and they say you can just mix it in your lotion/whatever to get high-quality SPF.
Of course my interest was peaked because European sunscreens with Tinosorb can be greasy/expensive/hard to find. However, I am skeptical because I've heard from many people that you shouldn't formulate your own sunscreen.
I have some CeraVe cream which I use to moisturize.. Theoretically could I just mix this active into my lotion and have a great SPF lotion? |
