Ladies...
Last night Mr Hubby surprised me with a gift which turned out to be Obagi Nu Derm kit, which he sheepishly admitted to buying on Ebay for me. Possibly all that night time ranting about disappointment with ZO Skin health products prompted him to do something
I researched about this line and looks like I need prescription strength Retin-A in addition to the products in this kit!
I am wondering, if I can substitute prescription Tretinoin with OTC Retinol, such as Paula's Choice 1%, or Skineceuticals 1%? Any thoughts or advice? Thank you... |

Retinol is much weaker than tretinoin and the Obagi system is meant to be used with tretinoin. Tretinoin is the foundation of the Nu Derm system. |

Thank you!!
Are there any other non-prescription systems for skin resurfacing like Obagi? Esp. Korean/Japanese?
thanks |

I'm using SkinCeuticals Retinol 1% now and I can say it is pretty strong stuff. I've used both Tazorac and generic Retin-A 0.5% with no results. I used the SC for two nights non-consecutive and I was already peeling. Never peeled on the Rx stuff. So I would say its worth a shot. It's been almost a month since using and my skin is the best it has looked in years. |

I use Afirm with Obagi as I find the Tretinoin is just to harsh.
