which flat iron is better -- the sedu or t3. I have read good and bad reviews on both of them but i want to know which one is less damaging and most durable. Some one who has tried both of please give me some advice. thanks... |

If you do decide to go with the T3, don't order from the HQHair website. I made that mistake ...
They shipped me a faulty iron that didn't work at all, ie did not even become warm, let alone hot, and refused to replace it or refund, claiming it was not their responsibility.
It took me more than six months to eventually get a refund out of them and that was only after I wasted lots of time studying up on UK consumer law.... Blah!
The whole experience put me off T3 irons forever and I've stuck with my GHD. |

Ive owned both. The sedu I sent back after only two uses.I didnt like it at all, my hair kind of felt scorched even on a lower temp. I was really disappointed as id been looking at all the before and after pics on folica and thought it would be a miracle product! I still have my T3 and like that way better. It makes my hair very soft and havent got split ends or dryness from it.
BUT and this is just my hair I think because its happened with all 4 irons ive owned! I get broken of bits when i straighten so i really have to limit my use of them. I think its from straightening as now and again Ill go a few months without using it and my hair stops getting breakage(its often a few centimetres from the root and I hate it-Im currently thinking of going on an iron ban again)My sister irons her hair regularly and dosent have the same problem so maybe my hairs more fragile, I dont know.
I have the 1 1/4 inch i think it is. HTH a bit. You may have good results with the sedu though. My advice is to buy from folica so you can return whatever you get and dont like. They stock both. |

I dont have either, but my hairdresser uses the T3, and loves it. I have a Chi that I bought a few months ago, when it dies, I'll buy a T3. Oh yeah, I just got an email that Folica has free shipping if you spend over $50.00 (and I'm guessing this iron is over $50.00). |

I personally love the Paul Mitchell Smoothing Iron. Ever since my hairstylist started using it on me ive been hooked! I dont know what stores are selling it at the moment, but I know there are a few on Ebay going for around 80-100 Dollars.. The ones on Ebay are legit too, my sister recently purchased one off Ebay and it was in brand-new perfect working order. |

I've had my Sedu for almost two years and I love it. I was deciding between that and the Chi; the Chi seemed to break after a year for a lot of people.
It can get up to 200°, but I use it at 160°. I also use Rusk Str8 heat spray before. |

So is mine it is the Salon Series styling iron. My hair is dead straight so I use it to give my hair a curl. |

I've had a 1 1/2" Sedu for five years that is still going strong. Just don't wrap the cord like it says in the manual.
No T3 to compare it to, though. The Sedu has lasted longer than my GVP straightener before that, and the drugstore straightener before that. |
