Hi guys, I have been using really high quality physical sunscreens like Burnout, kabana, and Loving Naturals.
Burn out is like 18% zinc oxide while kabana and loving naturals are around 25%. And I apply enough which is the nickel amount since I am pretty serious about sun protection
I seem to be very prone to tanning even if I am sitting in the car. Can you guys please help. What sunscreen are good at preventing tanning for someone who tans really really easily. I can't believe these sunscreen are not preventing my tans even if im in the car for a 15 minute drive. |

You haven't mentioned UVA protection from that cream. Does it have any? |

Zinc oxide is known to protect against UVA and UVB. But after reading somewhere that chemical sunscreens have higher protection from tanning... I m wondering whether physical sunscreens aren't the best option for me. Has anyone tried a chemical sunscreen that prevents darkening for skin that's really prone to tanning? |

Physical only sunscreens never really worked for me. I still got colour with them. Since switching to Asian sunscreens for the face I don't burn or tan anymore. I like euro sunscreens for the body. I think overall, chemical sunscreens are better protectors. |

It probably isn't enough for your skin, especially since you said you tan easily. Try a chemical one instead and see how the results are. |

You can use natural remedies for sunburn. Applying lemon+turmeric, curd+turmeric is good for removing tan. |

You can double layer with a chemical ss that has Mexoryl or Tinosorb and then a physical zinc ss. This way you cover the UV spectrum while having longer protection. |

I was thinking of that option as well. Can you please recommend any you have had success with? |

Which ones do you think would layer well together? Iv heard some ingredients in a physical sunscreen may inactivate the ingredients in a chemical one. do you have any recommendations as a combo |
